CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

The more I think about this, the more it makes sense why it seems like Ceferin didn't want to take this any further. He is a lawyer himself and even he probably thought the case UEFA was going to bring was stupid. Its a big blow to his first stint in the job.

For me all this points to Munich

Der Spiegel have had huge fall outs with Bayern Munich, however it is DS that has edited stolen emails, patched two separate stolen emails together and then printed them as fact

I understand that Abu Dhabi comes in for criticism over human rights and freedom of speech and that our owner is reluctant to pursue the Western press as he would be accused of trying to quell freedom of speech in the western world, but, there must be something he/the club can pursue against DS!
They have fabricated a story with stolen material that they have "doctored" and then claim are entirely true and it's not the first time they have "invented" a story

Der Spiegel reporter Claas Relotius sacked over 'invented' stories

It will be witheld from our CL cut.

Payable within 30 days of the initial CAS verdict as specified in their statement of 13th July.

"In their statement, CAS said that “MCFC has contravened Article 56 of the Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations” and would have to pay a 10million euros fine – slashed from 30million – within 30 days of the judgement. (MEN)

Didn't Ceferin say at the outset that there was 'concrete' evidence against us?
Someone said it I'm sure, I always thought it was him.

I may be wrong but I was under the impression that Ceferin tried to reach out and offer a plea agreement after he was appointed UEFA president. At the time I thought it was to spare the embarassment for UEFA when we won in court (Helps their reputation as well if they strong armed us) but seeing the case now it seems pretty straight forward we were going to win and maybe he knew that.

Tony Evans' diatribe today in the Indie is hilarious in how much spin is applied to discredit UEFA.

Oh, and somewhat laissez faire approach to detail. I like "City were obstructive to the point where the panel fined them £27m."

CAS gave the reason the fine was still quite heavy at €10m..... and it was because

I am sure what Pep said was known, but I doubt it was scripted for him. It does makes me wonder what people like Vicky or Simon actually do, and I don’t think either of us think it should be part of Pep’s job to defend our club to the media, which he has done on his own, magnificently. He must also wonder how the likes of stone, Cooper, etc can get away with giving him shit in press conferences every single fucking week. Where else does that happen? It’s wrong and it’s indefensible.
Do we actually have to let these fuckers into our pressers
Can we actually say to Harris, Delaney, Stone or Conn you can fuck right off if you think your coming in here?
