CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Do we actually have to let these fuckers into our pressers
Can we actually say to Harris, Delaney, Stone or Conn you can fuck right off if you think your coming in here?
The optics of that are even worse though aren't they....

"JUST LIKE ABU DHABI, FREE SPEECH QUASHED AS CITY BAN REPORTERS"

"OIL RICH CITY BAN JOURNALISTS IN LATEST SHOW OF DISRESPECT"

"MONEY HUNGRY PEP BANS REPORTERS"

"HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSERS BANS REPORTERS, JUST WHAT IS PEP HIDING?"

This whole vile affair has had a big impact on me. I was at risk of getting a little bored with football in general. The actions of the so called established clubs has reignited my passion for all things City. Siege mentality can be a real good motivator - watch us fly next season.
Spot on, pal!

I don’t take much offence at what the media or other fans say about us. They can say what they want for me, I embrace the hate, I don’t want to be liked, don’t want to be accepted, I’d rather know the score and really see everyone else for what they are and keep City as an alternative/sub-culture club that you only follow if you’re a true fan.

But I do take exception to The Cartel and the governing bodies actively trying to hinder and stop City.

The introduction of VAR has ruined the sport in more ways than one. Worst of all taking away the emphatic feeling you get when the ball hits the net, and that really did make me rethink renewing my seasoncard from next season...

But after all this Cartel, Hateful Eight and UEFA shit, I feel refreshed, feel like I could punch every Redshirt I see right in the mush with gusto every time I see one!

I’m right up for coming back to the footy now!

I certainly think it would be naive to think that any company in any sector of business would turn down a chance to share in millions of pounds worth of income.
Each company should fight for its own income that is why a group of companies form cartels. And that is why it is illegal in most business sectors.

I doubt this was cartelisation. This was just common interest.

I believe Arsenal were the driving force between this and other matters. I can't remember if that's from one of the ITKs or not.

Don't know either way. It doesn't matter much - I think the aim was reasonable, and it's done with.

If something like that recurs, then it's more notable.

Der Spiegel have had huge fall outs with Bayern Munich, however it is DS that has edited stolen emails, patched two separate stolen emails together and then printed them as fact

I understand that Abu Dhabi comes in for criticism over human rights and freedom of speech and that our owner is reluctant to pursue the Western press as he would be accused of trying to quell freedom of speech in the western world, but, there must be something he/the club can pursue against DS!
They have fabricated a story with stolen material that they have "doctored" and then claim are entirely true and it's not the first time they have "invented" a story

Der Spiegel reporter Claas Relotius sacked over 'invented' stories

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-46624297

If Der Spiegel had 'come into possession' of, say, ten thousand Dipper or Rag shirts and were floggin' 'em at the next Christmas market, would Die Polizei be down their throats for handling stolen property? Handling stolen emails? Is that not a criminal offence? What happened to the EU's data protection laws? Why isn't the BBC and other shitehawks within the RDAHMeedya publishing stories along these lines? Why aren't they asking pertinent questions? Or do they have to pass them to Dirty Dan for his yea or nay?

I
Fair enough, but I get the feeling that the supporters feelings about the press /journos are different to the way the club choose to deal with them.

I'm sure many on here would prefer a public thrashing of Delaney, Conn, Harris twins et al.[/QUOTE
I think we need to be professional but the reputations damage is huge, and I just can’t see that we have the balance right, at all

Payable within 30 days of the initial CAS verdict as specified in their statement of 13th July.

"In their statement, CAS said that “MCFC has contravened Article 56 of the Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations” and would have to pay a 10million euros fine – slashed from 30million – within 30 days of the judgement. (MEN)

It's also completely independent of anything else, including FFP.

I’m not unduly worried about what the press say about us- they were lying before and they will simply continue to do so now.
I’m more concerned that they show no interest in the letter from the 8 PL clubs.
That letter shows a group, a cartel, if you like, of commercial entities, operating in the same marketplace as City attempting to influence a neutral, unbiased, legally constituted arbitration body, to further their own financial and business interests.
I’d have thought that this kind of shady dealing would have been of interest to any ‘journalist’ worth his salt, but sadly all we have is the tedious drones who simply toe the party line.
When you put this letter together with the scousers cyber theft and then look at the response to those events from the media compared to the frenzy of insinuations, word-twisting, and downright lying we’re seeing now, it leaves you in no doubt about the balance of the media.
Spot on pal.

If someone I knew was in court being accused of fraud and me and my mates put together a letter to influence the judge/jury, we’d be sent to court ourselves.
