Cavani & Falcao

I love the Bluemoon give up! Reckon we shouldn't sign anyone as they are all going elsewhere

Good thing Churchill didn't give up when he read in the Sunday People quoted from an unnamed Spanish relative of Goering that the Battle of Britain was already lost.

Giving up that falcao is going to Chelsea or cavani is going to madrid is just plain stupid as until they have managers, until they are in the champs league it is all just panicking conjecture made with no knowledge of the facts. With players like neymar, bale, Rooney etc also out there and with very different managers available it is daft to panic.

Chelsea could have moyes, Clarke, mourinho etc, united could have a new manager , Resl could, PSG could we could - they could come with favourites , with different systems etc etc

I asked very early in this thread who would we prefer if we couldn't get either - and I never really got an answer.

As for the two players mentioned, I would be over the Bluemoon with either.

If we go back a couple of Seasons; City were being linked with Benzama,Higuin and Kun. Again, all 3 Strikers absolutely awesome and I wasn't that fussed but I leaned slightly towards Higuin because he slightly reminded me of Jimmy Greaves. No way have I been disappointed with Aguero though!

With these two, I genuinely dont have a clue who to choose because they are both brilliant - I just cant work out who will be the best fit.

I see Cavani as a Trevor Francis type who likes to come in from the wide areas and I see Falcao as a Ruud Van Nistelroy type.

Does anybody else think that our style of play will be too foreign to Cavani and that Falcao is too similar in style to Aguero.

Glad I am not the Manager.

Suarez, though we should be going for him first anyway IMO. Him or someone like him. We have Aguero and he should be our main man, not bringing in Falcao or Cavani to spend another season trying to shoe horn two strikers into the lineup. If we're definitely going 4-3-3, Suarez would be far more suitable as one of the front three than Cavani or Falcao if one of the spots is already filled by Aguero. Im not convinced either of them would be suitable even if we didn't have Aguero. Other option is going all out for someone like Bale.

Cavani is a must.

That's about £100m.

Sheikhy should sell some more oil then if it's an issue.

We have as much money as we could every possibly use, but that doesn't mean we can spend it. You know about FFP don't you?

That thing that the Russians and PSG are ripping the piss out of?...it's a farce and should be treated as such.
