If United get Falcao my money is definately on Rooney doing a Scholes and dropping into midfield.

I personally think he can do a job there because Carrick will do all the sweeping up and Rooney can ping balls around for fun on his day and can contribute and can possibly do a Lampard and score a shed load from midfield.

Rooney's workrate is second to none in the league as well.

We cannot let this happen either way!! Next year will be very hard.

When it comes to all things Madrid and Atletico, Marca are usually bang on as both the two big Madrid clubs seem to leak a lot out to them.
Can't see Rooney in midfield, the dirty git will get a red card every other game just like Scholes did...............................ohh, wait a second..........

Ill-informed.

Ever since the start of about 2 years ago, Rooney has gotten lazier and lazier.

-- Tue Apr 16, 2013 2:07 am --

Falcao to United news garnered momentum from a Twitter journalist, who strongly emphasised that United only made strong enquiries.

Say if he was right, it could be tied in with Rooney leaving for PSG. However, I highly doubt United has the money to shell out for Falcao's pricetag alone without raising eyebrows over FFP.

Nightmare scenario for City:
- Falcao joins the Rags
- Cavani joins Chelsea.

So since Chelsea, PSG and united have put "deposits" down for Falcao.... anyone know if we have or are chasing other strikers?

According to the Daily Mail the rags had scouts to watch him in their last game. I call bullocks!

God knows why you'd need to go and scout Falcao anymore, maybe they had their eyes on someone like Koke instead. I really hope they don't sign Falcao but I still think there's a limit on how many goals they can score and he might just end up taking Rooney/some of RvP's goals... or maybe I'm just clutching at straws.

Lot of reports saying Cavani is as good as a Real Madrid player too, but we'll see. There are other strikers besides these two out there, Higuain for example who could be for sale if Cavani goes there.

Falcao as an option to replace Rooney?

Few quotes from an article in the Mail.

Here is the article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...er-United-star-heading-Old-Trafford-exit.html

Now Michel Moulin – who worked very briefly as an adviser to PSG in 2008 – has claimed that a deal for Rooney is 'done'.

Now the owner of French media outlet Le Sport 10, Moulin said on French TV: 'I announce to you from trusted sources: Rooney to PSG is done. He will be at PSG next season.'
