Suarez is nailed on to replace Higuain in my opinion as well.

He is obviously forcing his move there, Real seem interested, and he is available for around 40m.

See I see Real going balls deep in this transfer window and I honestly can see them lining up like this up front.

-------Suarez------
Ronaldo--Ozil---Bale

I feel Suarez is just as good a player as Cavani. His record for Uruguay is much better. He is proven in the league. I know he has his issues, but maybe a better manager can help control him. He is only 26 years old just like Cavani. I don't understand why more clubs aren't going after him. I think if we had put in the 50 million euros bid for Suarez, Liverpool would have sold him since he's been so adamant on moving.

What is Napoli's financial situation ?

Have you forgotten the fact we have Aguero?
most people on here seem to not have faith in him.

I don't see anyone paying 63 million. Especially not Real since they will be signing Bale.

You don't understand why more clubs aren't going in for him? Really?

According to Alfredo Pedulla who is one of the better non-Di Marzio journalists in Italy...

- Chelsea made "concrete steps" towards approaching Cavani's release clause, but no mention of actually making the bids that Tancredi says have been lodged.

- City have offered 50 million euros cash but still hold a possible key - Edin Dzeko, who is Napoli's #1 target to replace Cavani.

- Cavani intends to wait and see if Real Madrid make a move and Pedulla says someone has given him assurances they will once Ancelotti is appointed.

- If Real don't make a move or sufficient bid for him (it's possible if they are after Suarez) he is likely to accept whichever of City or Chelsea (the most active club so far) make the best offer.

This move will drive everybody bonkers until the end of the Confederations Cup.

To be honest this kind of makes me angry. If Madrid don't go in for him then he might consider us? Seriously? That's a bit of disrespect to the club, even if Madrid are a huge club blabla..

Yawn, this is exactly like fucking Sanchez again.

Yep, ground hog day. Personally I feel we should tell his agent take our offer or thats it. For me I would be delighted with Higuain he is clinical, proven, relatively young, and wants to leave real. Where better to come than city. Real want 25 mill but I'm sure we would get him cheaper. We could use the money we're saving to buy Thiago. With isco hopefully joining we would have one of the best midfields. Aguero, Higuain and Dzeko up front ain't to shabby either

This . I think this is what we have done though . Made an offer and Napoli are just keepin there options open for as long as they can . I'd give a deadline date as well . I'd tell them they have one week to accept and if they don't play ball we should get higuain instead. Be cheaper and just as good IMO .

No one knows but we might of already moved on from Cavani knowing that Napoli are not going to budge on the fee.....
