Cavani Speculation/News 3 (or 4)

The last Chelsea offer has been rejected yet again and I read somewhere that they may be pulling out of the race or whatever this is now to sign him. I really have no idea what to think of this "saga" any more, and it's pissing me off so much!

This saga is what transfer windows and fans forums are all about. If it was all plain sailing it would be as dull as dishwater. Enjoy the highs and lows and let the emotions flow along with the arguments and squabbles, falling out and making up. Its what we do. Alternatively switch off the computer, go watch cricket, play golf, do the garden, go on holiday. When the footie season starts just go on the official site and see who we have in the squad.

(Right off to clean the golf clubs see you all in about 8 weeks time) :-)

This site (in Italian) claims that Cavani has agreed a 5-year deal with us.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.tifonapoli.it/de-laurentiis-ci-provera-ma-cavani-trova-un-accordo-per-5-anni-col-city/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.tifonapoli.it/de-laurentiis- ... -col-city/</a>

But there is so much misinformation. If you think it's bad, try reading the Italian sites every day. They interview journalists from different publications and nearly ALL of them have a different story. He only wants Madrid... he's going to Chelsea... he's off to City... he could stay at Napoli... he hasn't decided yet... and so on.

Once you understand the intentions of the companies who want to Cavani, it seems clear that it is maturing the possibility that the attacker ends up staying in blue. De Laurentiis and the attacker knows it, and the owner would like to really talk about this. The intention is to establish by the end of this month the terms of permanence in blue Cavani, otherwise, the player must make it clear that he wants to go away, at any cost. Whereas it appears that the attacker is willing to stay in Naples without drama, De Laurentiis would like to use an argument that sounds pleasant to the ears of Cavani and his manager, Pierpaolo Triulzi. Renewal of the contract for another year, with extension to 2018 and a million increase on how to engage. Just an idea, do not you know how to tease Edinson Cavani: he, of course, agreed on the word with Manchester City a five-year, € 8.5 million, and his request, in any case, would not be less than 7.5 million.

this sounds to me like cavani has agreed to city, but the napoli owner wants him to hand in a transfer request so he loses any monies hes entitled to by handing in a request.

Put £20 on at 6/4 couple of weeks back. Starting to regain hope about this transfer now. Don't think we will make the same mistakes in the past and lose out on a top target.

The 5yr deal bit is taken from another story. Where they're on about De Laurentiis being annoyed with Cavani's family. And that exact article still claim its madrid and chelsea ahead of city, who are a bit further behind in the race.

cut a long story short, theyre talking shit, as most italian media seem to be lately... cunts
