If we have pulled out of going for Cavani as reports suggest, what other striker do you think we will be going for cos I cant think of anyone else marque thats available?

Everyone is available for the right price.

Is Benzema available?
Maybe we'll just have to postpone our hunt for a top-five striker in the world for now? If second choices are as mediocre as last summer's t-window suggested, I'd rather see us take a pass.
Tevez I think is bound to leave, but if we bring in David Villa to replace him we'll still have a more than good enough attack to win trophies next season.
Instead strengthen other areas in the squad where needed, and then get a good pre-season together. Manuel is known for his ability to get the best out of the players and squad so I have no doubts we are set for a terrific season up ahead.

Attack: Aguero, Dzeko, Villa and Guidetti.
Attacking midfield: Isco, Navas, Nasri, Silva, Lopes, Suarez
Central midfield: Inferno, Yaya, Milner, Barry, Garcia, Razak
Full backs: Clichy, Zabaleta, Richards, Kolarov
Centre backs: Kompany, Nastasic, Lescott, Rekik

Maybe we could do with yet another striker, not knowing if Guidetti will be up for it this coming season.
I'd say we could do with another quality CB, a new LB (preferably Shaw) allowing for us to sell Kolarov.
Also I'm not sure the central midfield is complete as of yet. Pellegrini relies on hard working energetic ball winning mf's and I'm not sure Yaya is physically up for that.

But other than that, surely that's a good enough squad with a great manager to win us trophies of the finest calibre?

Robert Lewandowski spurns Manchester City offer to make him Premier League's best paid player

Moved on from Edinson?

What a load of horseshit. Not disputing we may have moved for Lewandowski but no fooking chance we'd be making him the best paid player. Ridiculous.

That truly is ridiculous.

As if he would be even close to being City's best player & be offered more than everyone else. Joke.

Sell Tevez buy Isco and our squad is good enough

Keep Tevez and buy Isco and our squad is even better....

I just think Isco would play the Tevez role also if Tevez isn't going to extend his contract we need to sell to recoup some money

But if he is, we could keep him & he would be brilliant alongside Isco, rotating with him plus Silva/Nasri.

From 101 Great Goals:

Another day, another update on the future of Napoli striker Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan is one of the hottest properties in the summer transfer window, having been the top goal scorer in Serie A last season and it is reportedly a three-way race between Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid for Cavani.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim today that Manchester City are now in pole position to secure Cavani and have offered Napoli two options:1. Edin Dzeko + 40 million euros for Cavani.2. A straight 55 million euro cash offer.Gazzetta seem certain that Manchester City are now ahead of Chelsea in the race for Cavani but suggest Real Madrid still have a trump card in their negotiations: Gonzalo Higuain.Meanwhile, Napoli are working hard to provide new coach Rafa Benitez with some new players and are close to securing Valencia defender Adil Rami.

I don't read the Fail on Sunday but according to SSN they have said City have pulled out of the chase for Cavani and left it to Real and Chelski.
