i may be seeing to much into this and way off but to me city seem to be playing games with the Italians for a change.

He is a prospective employee of 3 clubs, should he move. He doesn't give a shit about us, Chelsea or Madrid, same way you wouldn't give a shit about 3 potential employers you were looking to join. He, like anyone would, is looking for the best option for him, and if playing a few games creates better options, fair play to him. It's just a job to him, same as it is to anyone else coming here for the big money.

Also we are second or third choice too.

Imho I reckon he's waiting for Madrid to make an offer. If they don't then he will choose one of us but imo us. Real mean best squad and biggest club, great weather, same language and a dream come true probably.

Maybe he has said he will only resolve his future once the confed cup is over and doesn't want any transfer talk to interfere with his time with the national squad being disrupted by any ongoing transfer speculation. Maybe thats why we have given him until the end of the month because the finals aren't held until 30th June, just another possibility.

Which is good, ADL has tried to take the piss because of who our owners are, i wouldnt pay a pound more than £35 million for him and by the sound of it neither will Chelsea, perhaps playing for Pellagrini appeals more to Cavani than it does for the next busted flush namely Mourinho.

pay £35 mill , let Tevez go to Milan, let Dzeko go to Dortmund and we then snap up Lewendoswki-happy fucking days !!!!
 
If the deal is Tevez + Cash then that might give rise to speculation surrounding a Dzeko/Lewandowski trade.
 
I can't see us having both Cavani and Lewandowski for me it is one or the other. I also believe that once the striker and Isco are sorted I don't think we will be signing any more players(other than a mekweight player who doesn't mind not playing in CL such as Pizarro) squad size has got to the very limit. IMO our three strikers next year will be

Cavani/Lewandowski/Other Aguero Guidetti.

Unless we start shipping out players which up to now has not been happening.
