Cavani Speculation/News 3 (or 4)

I can't see us having both Cavani and Lewandowski for me it is one or the other. I also believe that once the striker and Isco are sorted I don't think we will be signing any more players(other than a mekweight player who doesn't mind not playing in CL such as Pizarro) squad size has got to the very limit. IMO our three strikers next year will be

Cavani/Lewandowski/Other Aguero Guidetti.

Unless we start shipping out players which up to now has not been happening.

What happens when the Copa America tournament comes round again ? Do we lose potentially Cavani,Aguero and Tevez for a month whilst its on? We need at least two European strikers on the books,Lewandowski fits the bill and either replace Guidetti in two years time and sign another European striker.

I honestly can't see a situation where Tevez is still with us when the Copa comes around again.

One of the downsides to going to Napoli for anyone is the fear of mugging!! How many players have been done over now?? Hamsik, Lavezzi (sp) I think, to name but 2!!

If I am right (I could be way out) you only have to do the maths when it comes to squad sizes, Tevez will be gone so he won't be our problem but he hasn't featured for national squad for some time. If we sign Cavani & Lewandowski to be joined by Aguero and Guidetti as a front four although those could play in Prem League we can't squeeze them in to the CL squad places it means either another player has to be sold such as Garcia or a player has to be told you cannot feature in CL. IMO that is bad for squad moral given most of the squad are full internationals and I can't see anyone wanting to only play prem league. I haven't seen anything linking Garcia with being sold or anyone else for that matter, maybe that will happen once we get all our targets in but at the moment we have reached our limit.

This pre supposes we sign Isco & Cavani and sell Tevez and Dzeko.

Why would we wait til after the confederations cup to strike a deal with Napoli when the player has already agreed terms with us?

IMO this one can unravel at any time.

The final was end of July if my memory serves me right,so it means no pre season for potentailly three of our strikers, risk of injuries etc. We could have three strikers fucked before they even pull a city shirt on.

One of Dzeko or Tevez will be staying unless we have intentions of replacing both.

No chance can we go into the start of the season with say Agüero, Cavani and Guidetti, a few weeks ago I said we could but the more I think about it you can't.

It's from the 15th of June until the 30th of June :P So we will lose those players for the first 1-2 weeks of July ?

Need to lose another to fit them in for CL only have 21 spots 4 spots reserved for our own academy products like Richards Johanssen and Guidetti. As I have already stated getting them in prem league no problem but CL squad is harder to do.
