A poster on that site said Pellegrini would be announced about 2 weeks ago today...

Well he wasn't announced two weeks ago.

What is the point in posting it today though? Didn't he realise ;)

I dont get this either. what positive can possible come out from this delay?

We will make the announcement when the club is good and ready.

We already know who it is and unless he has a change of heart at the last minute or has to renege for personal reasons I don't think it will matter just exactly when.

The recruitment will go on regardless as it has been since the season finished.

I think the club recognises, after a lot of negative press surrounding the Mancini dismissal and FA Cup final, that it should do something positive and I think a major announcement of Manager, additional players and stadium expansion would show a long term, forward thinking and I don't know... holistic approach to the beginning of the new era for City.
