City will pull out of this, we aren't going to be messed around.

Assuming that we've even put a bid in, it's all speculation. No doubt he's a target, but other than people involved in the deal, everything every one else says is just flapping or guessing.
Im not saying that we have. We just wont be messed about like we were with Hazard. One player is not bigger than a team...bar Messi

telling people not to flap on here?

Chelsea can have him, he is not worth what is being asked for him.

50m euros is the max I would want City to stretch to, only if we were desperate though.
Until next season when he is scoring goals for fun? I know the price quoted is too high, but I have the feeling he will justify it.

By the way, what's a KFA ? :D

Too much of a risk if you ask me mate.

When you can get Suarez for €40m and Lewandowski for €25m, I would question De Laurentiis and his transfer demands of €63m.

Each of of those three strikers have similar if not exact goal returns.

Just too expensive mate.

Also Suarez wages less and he's proven in the league. Lewandowski is poorest of the 3 but I'd snatch him at the limb at that price.

As someone else pointed out, Schurrle is a winger. It would be like saying we now have Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko and Navas to compete with Cavani. Doesn't make any sense.

His natural position is a winger, but he does play up top.
So does Silva for Spain. Does that mean we should count him as one of our strikers too?

Read my post again.....I didn't say he always plays up top.....and silva plays as an attacking midfielder/winger for Spain..

Cavani's goal return is superior to Lewandowski's and Suarez is a ticking time bomb of bad press.

You don't just get loads of goals with Cavani, you get a fantastic work rate and fulfillment of defensive duties. He also contributes to build up play and has serious pace!

Unless Tancredi is stealing Di Marzio's news, he is usually a KFA. Sneijder to Spurs said he...

I'm sure he gets fed info from these clubs! I believe they are using him to spread bullshit what he believes is true... ;)

This. I said as much a few times.

Way this is working is simple. Napoli want best deal (of course) and they are briefing Di Marzio who Palmeri copies. Both post 'info' but really it's to gain interest. That's why the Shaarawy rumours have surfaced. Us doing the same back.

Brinkmanship this is.

Aye. They're all just dancing the dance at this stage.

If Chelsea do sign him all the papers will run the Cavani Snubs City story without knowing the facts

So? don't read the papers, it's not difficult.

I don't anyway...to expensive to ship to Florida ....

Why are people talking about Suarez still? He says he wants to move away from England and to be honest I don't want the racist little shit anywhere near our club.

If we don't get cavani who do we go for? I can see pellegrini wanting soldado maybe.

My gut tells me lewandowski isn't coming.
