Cavani Speculation/News (page 151 onwards)

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

If we're going to believe all rumours we agreed personal terms with him a few weeks ago, remember?

If we offer more money than Chelsea, he will come to us, simple

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

@tancredipalmeri: You are submitting many questions on the situation of Cavani, linked to Benitez, Manchester City and Dzeko. A short FAQ in next tweets

@tancredipalmeri: Re Benitez: there is no connection between Benitez relationship with Chelsea and chances on Cavani. Cavani will just go to the best bidder

@tancredipalmeri: Chances: situation is so open.City still ahead, and with possible option of Dzeko swap. But Chelsea needed to make this official step

@tancredipalmeri: Now that Chelsea is in,Napoli pres. will keep them aware of what is going on.Instead PSG have deal with player but nothing with club

@tancredipalmeri: It is a step Napoli was expecting. That's why president got mad when Benitez signing was leaked - interest in keeping good the relationship

@tancredipalmeri: At this moment, not any official bid on the table. But City and Chelsea declared interest, but City said they are open for cash + Dzeko

@tancredipalmeri: Re Real Madrid: Cavani's father keep on saying that Real would be best place for him,but he also admitted they never been contacted

@tancredipalmeri: And considering a news I will give later that is coming from Spain, might really be that Real won't enter Cavani race

@tancredipalmeri: Re Torres: so far there is not any evidence of Napoli interest for him. And tbf, seems simply not realistic that Napoli would pay his wages

@tancredipalmeri: Benitez has not signed after being assured on Cavani. He has been told that if 63m bid will arrive,Cavani will go,but money will be invested

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

This is probably another leak to ramp up the interest in Cavani, just like ADL's quotes about Cavani and Dzeko last week. Tancredi seems to think we're slightly ahead at this point though

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

If Dzeko refuses to go the other way, that could really fook it up for us. Seems to me we don't want to pay the full fee. But then again, I'm not sure Chelsea or Real will want to either.

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

He'll go to the highest bidder no doubt. It does help that we have dzeko, haven't seen much info o whether he favors a move there though. Klopp also told BILD that the speculation surrounding lewandowski with be resolved in the coming days. Lots of moving pieces...

His agent already admitted today he's off to bayern.

as for Cavani, it's exactly as I expected.

@DeadlineDayLive: Talks have begun between Napoli and Manchester City over an Edinson Cavani and Edin Džeko swap deal. (Source: Metro)

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

If this was to collapse, would keeping Dzeko be so bad?

He may not have the attributes of Cavani but i'm confident a better manager can get more out of him personally while utilising him more efficiently.

Add Isco,Navas and Fernandinho to our current squad and, while losing out on Cavani,we still become far stronger.

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

I agree. Said it many times before.
If you guys tweak your tactics and add 1-2 midfield pieces, you'll be deadly.

I really dont think Cavani is your answer. your strikeforce is ridic to start with
