The price will have to come down, the player wants to leave this season and the way no club is seemingly willing to pay the full buyout will mean it comes down. We no doubt will be monitoring the situation and will probably bid if the price is reasonable. I am glad the club are not just paying up, he is not that significant a player for us. We will score more next season regardless.

£45m is the price I think he will go for at in the end.

Yeah I'd say 45m seems about right. Funny thing about these buyout clauses is that they're all either woefully small or ridiculously big. One of the more comical ones in recent memory was Hulk's buyout clause that was something really dumb like 100 million.

Yeh, I have suggested him on here before, but the thing is we haven't been linked with him at all, so any speculation seems a bit pointless. In fact, we haven't had any big links with any strikers besides Cavani.
