Cavani Speculation/News (part 4)

The point about Cavani is that his price tag is ridiculously over-inflated. His true value is probably one third what ADL wants.

I reckon Higuain represents much better value at one third the price. I honestly can't see that Cavani's price tag should be any greater than Higuain. Watching the two of them play for their countries, Higuain has always played well, whereas I haven't seen Cavani have a decent game for his country. In addition Higuain would fit in well with Kun.

If we can big £46 mill for him as reported.

We might as well bid the other £6 million required

Its a joke really. If we actually sign this guy he will become me for the amount of times he will need to defend him cuz he will do fuk all in our system and hes overated.

I have read this several times, and in the words of Bricktop....."come again?"

I trust Pellegrini to...

  • Assess whether he can get the best out of Dzeko. Mancini didn't play to Dzeko's strengths; Pellegrini will
  • Assess whether there is a role for Tevez. If so, then he gets a contract extension (on reduced terms). If not, then look for another stiker.
  • If there is a spare striker spot, assess whether Cavani is worth it at the available price. I doubt that Pellegrini would regard Cavani as the best value, or most suitable for his style of play.

if we get Cavani there will be some big players missing out on 1st team football

Keeper / defence usual

2 holding Yaya / Ferdinando

leaves 4 places

Silva
Navas
Isco ( assume we get him
Aguero
Cavani

Someone misses out

i think this was all done months ago in the background.

using dzeko as a bargining chip for cavani?

juventus or AC wanting tevez and looking like he is going anyway?

if what we are to believe is true we had been talking to pelli as early as january all so putting feelers out for all our targets this summer as early as january.

id say pelli and trix had the plan set in stone without the need to talk to these players.

just my opinion on what we are led to believe over the past few months.
