I'm not doubting he's done a fantastic job mate. I think he's been aided these 2 years because of our poor management both on and off the park, but that's not to take away from the job he's done.
He’s given us our best team since O’Neil. He isn’t finished yet, he continues that, gets in some additional quality in the summer and gives the CL a go again, only this time we score at least some of the great chances we created, he gets to pick a better team than basket case Spurs.

That’s my advice to Ange, Now wee Bazza in the Ranger today saying he hopes he stays so Beale can topple him and Rangers Can Rule Again!! Fucking idiot just keeps giving us headlines to show how much pish he talks. Bless.

Now, don’t for a minute think I don’t see a potential threat from Beale. If you had Murty back I would see you as a threat. You are always a threat and our failures, both clubs, has been in forgetting that and getting put on your arse. We have both done it.

I really don’t think this is the best time, or club for Ange to leave now. He’s nearly as clever as me, so hopefully he sees that too. I haven’t been panicking, because I don’t panic. As I said before, if he makes the wrong decision and goes, I wish him well and we regroup and move on.

My money is on him staying, let’s see how it unfolds.

Nowhere near Strachan,Rodgers or maybe even Lennons Celtic side.
His team has not performed once in European football.
A move to the epl is a step up no matter how big the old firm clubs are.

Benny, his team took on all in our group. We failed to take a single chance out of many. You will go far to find anyone be of us who would agree with your assessment. In fact, none. Results we have achieved in the past were great, but we are better than them now. Last season was a learning curve about being clinical, we created more than any of the teams you mention, we just fucked up by missing sitters. It’s not just the result, it’s how we played and the signs are there that we can improve. We had great results, we best Barca, but had about 10% of possession. We had two chances and took them. We had more against Madrid and didn’t but we took the game to them, Ncgreggors goes in and the Abada chance it’s a different game. We still played better. That’s the key, Ange knows we need another few additions of quality, he has the money to buy them, so let’s see. I think we will be better.

Not saying he is not a good manager but the other 3 had better players and teams.that at least some success in Europe.
Did Strachans team not qualify from the group stages in the champions league maybe Lennons team as well.

Yes, but we didn’t have better players. We had good players. With Strachan we did well too by taking the very few chances we created. This team is better, and will get better still, I wouldn’t say that if I didn’t believe it. We all feel the same, well the ones with brains.

I'd normally agree with you that Ange might be better served staying, but the chances of being offered a chance to manage one of the top 6 in the EPL are very slim, especially a manager coming from the SPL.

He's an ambitious man, who was looking for an avenue into European football for years (I seen links as far back as 2017 with us believe it or not).

You've got to imagine the chance to manage in a top 5 league, at 1 of the big 6 no less, will be just too big a pull to turn down. Never mind the fact that he'll what, at least treble his wages, probably more?!

I hear you, but if he stays wins again, has a better crack at the CL, then he gets an even bigger spread of top Clubs. Spurs won’t give him the time he needs to sort they or is out. They are a poison chalice. If he goes he goes. No point in getting all worked up about it. I will be disappointed, but we move on. nothing but paper talk until it’s fact.

You're deluded.

Why on earth would he stay? He's already won everything he can with you. He'd get 4 X the salary and get to test himself against the best managers and teams in the world in the Premier League.

Totally deluded if you think he'd turn that down.

You’re deluded if you think this will be his only offer if he does well in the CL. The reason is simple, the risk. The history of Spurs and their managers relationship with Levy. The fans not wanting him and the lack of time before they turn. To someone who doesn’t understand the particular dynamics of taking over that club, it would seem a cert. But, let’s hope he’s smarter. A big bag of Gold will be no use when he gets fired. Why should he rush? Celtic wil have already offered to increase his salary. He is still n the CL, he has money to spend and he can wait one more season and be offered a job at a more stable club. That would be the smart move, the deluded move would be to see the glitter only and ignore the shit.

Plenty of managers have a good run with one team, get a move to a bigger club, usually in trouble and find out they fucked up. Only the deluded jump in to a shark pool. I choose to take in all the variables then weigh them up. That’s why I came to my conclusion. Based on the history of that club, the chairman, the turnover in managers and their fans. You buy into all of it. Spurs is a job for managers who want a payday. Some are blinded by their own ego. For the last 30 years all of the variables mentioned have crushed every single manager. All that glitters and is not gold.

Eventually, for £40m or more.

Do well at Celtic or Rangers and you might get an opportunity at one of the clubs outside the top 6 but would not normally be anywhere near a top 6 club. Not saying there are not some good coaches but they would have to prove themselves in a more competitive league before anyone would take the risk , as has happened with the players.

Think if he continues to do well at Celtic (and well is you have to win the league and at least one of the cups every year or you have failed) he might get offers from other Premier league clubs but not any of the top 6 except Spurs who seem to have run out of managers to offer the job to - they seem desperate.

Outside of Spurs he will never be offered a bigger job in the PL until he has already worked in it. That might be the more sensible plan but think ego kicks in and even in failure at spurs given all the top class coaches who have failed there before it raises his profile in the PL and probably does little to damage his reputation.

Moneywise I think even Southampton turnover double what Celtic do so his salary offer is gonna be pretty persuasive.

Apart from Pep everyone of your top six have failed. You win it every year. Starting at Spurs is only for fucking mugs. If he takes it, he has made a **** of it.

He is not getting a job at City , United , Liverpool , Arsenal , Chelsea or Newcastle based on anything he can achieve at Celtic. Spurs would normally be out of reach and he would maybe go to a decent mid table side at best. That is about as well as successful performances in the scottish league is currently judged - might be harsh but its a fact.

If your point is you think he would be better waiting for a Brighton , Palace or Brentford opportunity you may well have a point but not sure his stock will ever be any higher than it is now whilst in Scotland.

If your point is he might qualify for the knockouts in CL and get a top 6 offer then thats not gonna happen.

Graham Potter is a case in point of a successful manager at a "smaller" club not being able to bring that success to the "bigger" club he moved to.
