I always feel the best team have one classy centre back and one animal, even Pep's teams have had this... Pique & Puyol at Barca and Boateng and Dante at Bayern.

I'd love to see a skilled aggressive defender with sound positioning come in, we have the perfect one at the club but I'm not sure he'll ever come through the injuries.

I don't think we need another John Stones type CB to pair up. Always felt a good defence is built on partnerships where one complements the other, as well as engaging for different types of attackers.

People just don't like the ones we have coz they see them weekly and judge them on every half error.

Could they be better? Sure. Are they good? Absolutely. Do we need another CB? Yes. But that's more because Kompany is often crocked and failing to create that competitive environment that normally skyrockets every one's performance.

Ball playing CB. Pep wanted two of Stones, Laporte, or Bonucci last summer. All ball playing CBs. Its not hard to predict what he actually wants and it is not a partnership between Classy and a Beast.

Don't need to judge them on half errors, there are more than enough full errors to be getting on with.
