With not able to buy for 2 windows after this Summer Hernandez looks dead in the water but doesn't let us buy Mbappa or Dembele next year either, hence why we are in for 1 of them & a CB.

I know people think it won't happen but could Aguero be sold & Dembele & Sanchez can fill in ifJesus gets hurt or needs rest.

Just don't see us signing all above unless all that list is moved out inc Sergio.

Laporte is never coming here. You think Pep is fine with his plans being fucked over by a dope and then he's going in for said dope a year later? Not the Pep I know!!! Multiple respected sources have said it'll never happen and Laportes name is still mentioned daily on here, Reddit, and twitter.

Drives me up the wall! Give it up!

He refers to Garre case, I personally think it's a little premature to talk about a possible ban. After all, FIFA are under this investigation as well, banning us would be absurd.

Irrelevant. The guy who knows him best (marti) says Pep was irate at the snub job and would never go back for him. Sam Lee says we will not go back in for him. Fits into my narrative of fuck Laporte also. So I'd love to stop seeing his name mentioned.

Haha, I was talking seriously)) Guess they'll nullify Garre's contract or order City to pay a fine in the worst case. Not that I'm a sports lawyer ofc, but Garre's situation was corresponding to some precedent case in France if I'm not mistaken. Don't think we should worry.

Fair enough I was wondering if you had any particular insight. I'm quite happy to forget Laporte who I have to confess I have never seen play.
 
i think that secret CB we are looking at is boateng, i know someone else mentioned it before but he would command a high fee and is only 27

Then our defence would contain the world's highest % of crocks. And Boateng will turn 29 in Sept.

Everyone says if Vinny goes out injured again we're screwed. So for me the CB we bring in would have to be able to partner well with Stones, Kolarov or Otamendi (if we don't sell him.) Manolas paired with any of them doesn't sound great.

Manolas would not be a spectacular signing be would be on the right lines of able to cover and could push into the starting line up. With Chelsea hijacking the deal there are signs he has some quality.
