Gathering momentum this now! Would be a sensational signing alongside mangala, fernando and sagna.

Hard to not agree with this as it obviously would be absolutely fantastic.
But if he wants to come back to England, will not Arsenal be his destination of choice?
Then again maybe Nasri has had a few words with his old buddy. I mean, Fabregas must see how his former team mates jump the ship and immediately win that so sought after PL title, VP with Manure, Nasri and Clichy with us. If your main objective is to win trophies, than City clearly is the team to play for.

Nasri. He's been poor since returning from injury. Personally thought he was poor yesterday despite his goal, but I'm not too arsed about that now.

Anyway, he can pretty much play in any position in midfield and has even played as Spain's false nine on a few occasions. We wouldn't have any trouble accommodating him here.

Not sure he would directly replace Nasri

He could replace any of our midfielders, but signing him wouldn't be to replace anyone it would be to bolster our squad

Fernandinho must have played about 50 games this season, and id imagine Nasri Yaya and Silva aren't far off that

Fabregas is that good that he can play in a 2 in front of a back or behind a striker, in the middle of a 4-4-2 or in the either of the 3's in a 4-3-3

Home Grown too, would be a fantastic signing. He dosnt have to replace anyone just be added to the squad. We will hopefully have around 60 games next season.

Realise I should know this but how does someone like Fabregas qualify as homegrown?

Is it age he arrived here or length of time spent in country?
