Sounds good to me.

A swap deal is well worth it imo. Yaya could be finished within 2 years yet cesc could keep going for another 6. Can't see barca going through with that unless we pay them some money aswell.

I disagree, if what Guillem Balague said is true and Barca will sell Cesc if his buyout is met which is 32.5m, then I see Barca either doing the swap or even paying us cash on top.

Luis Enrique apparently wants a powerful midfielder to evolve Barcelona and they don't come much better than Yaya.

I can see it happening if Yaya wants to go back to Barca.

If barca pay us money plus cesc then they're idiots.

I'd swap Yaya for Cesc & Pedro.

If Yaya is worth approximately £50m, Cesc £32.5m, and Pedro at about £25m ish.

So a shortfall of £7.5m, Is where Mr Soriano earns his money and negotiates they pay us a small fee.

Plus Fernando, Mangala & Sagna and I think we'd be better equipped!

Agreed. The whole "he's 31 so sell now"... when we had a saga like this last year, people said similar, and look at the season that followed.

Still at least two great seasons left in Yaya if he isn't overworked, so I hope this can be sorted.

Fabregas would be a downgrade IMO. Not only is Yaya a great player, he's almost a perfect player for the Premier League.

It's pointless if he doesn't want to play for us anymore though.

I wouldn't want to be him going into pre season apologising to the lads for being such a mard because I am not being loved enough despite being the clubs highest earner.
