Cesc Fabregas signs for Chelsea (page 190)

Cesc would be a great addition to our team. Just a surprise that Arsenal don't want to exercise their option to buy first. They won't want him joining a rival.

Doesn't matter one jot this "option", Cesc has to still want to go back.

Clearly going to rejoin arsenal IMO
Of course.

They're assembling a really good team. One forward away from us
2 forwards, a holding midfielder, a right back at least away from us, expect them to sign an attacking mid and stay that far away.

Arsenal were briefing off the record late last night that Fabregas is not for them.

And the information I have is Fabregas coming to City needn't factor in a sale of either Yaya or Aguero, much as it would seem to appear a matter of course.

Fabregas' homegrown status is the big card.

I do not see Fabregas at Chelsea, either. United gone cold.

We have a number of outgoings that will more than free space and budget.

If we receive Spanish bids for Negredo or Navas, I would not be surprised to see us let one of them go.

Are you aware as to whether we have a genuine interest?

I wasn't until last week. I had seen plenty of speculation.

He had not been on City's radar but we have been approached and it's an opportunity we are trying to run with.

The only club I fear is Liverpool. They want to make a statement signing and are going to lose out on the Ukrainian kid to United.
Surprising, but Arsenal have amazing depth in midfield (certainly in terms of attacking players).

The teams that need a Fabregas are City (no depth in midfield at all), Utd (no creativity at all), and Liverpool who at the moment totally bypass midfield with the balls played into the channels for the front 3. They must know that next season they will need to change their style of play.

Liverpool could guarantee 1st team football, but that wouldn't be a massive problem at City. And we'd guarantee trophies. We also have a much better stage. A 62,000 Etihad will be the best place to play football outside of Wembley.

Surely tixi and ferran won't allow the dippers to beat us though? And we have samir, silva, sagna (soon) gael, beast, navas who cesc knows well! Add to the fact the club is growing into a massive global brand he must fancy us over the dippers?

Yeah, but he was a Liverpool fan as a kid and has YNWA tattooed on his ballsack.

Have the rags sold Mata?

And whilst I'd like Cesc, it's ridiculous to suggest we have no depth in midfield, unless sine of them are going. He may be an upgrade, but he doesn't provide missing depth. As for Liverpool, who plays the balls into the channels?

They need a forward. They were lucky that Giroud stayed injury-free (apart fro 2-3 games). But they have Ramsey and he is the best player in the League, and I include Yaya in that.

I believe it will be City v Arsenal next season. Question marks about Chelsea (How will Zouma and Kalas do? Still need strikers)

And they found Cesc's replacement last season in Ramsey. Don't know how they'd fit them both in. Any money they do spend, I imagine will be used in their weak areas, particularly upfront

Good to have you back to your best Marv. Fucking lol.

He'd be my dream buy, he'll get as many assists as Silva + more goals, might not be as good out wide as Silva but he could play the deep lying playmaker role.

Yaya Ferni
Nasri Fabregas Silva
Aguero

As you can see I'm a fan.
