Cesc Fabregas signs for Chelsea (page 190)

Re: Cesc Fabregas

I kinda think we ought to go for Cesc, Yaya is clearly looking for a move and he ain't getting any younger.

If it means we could get Cesc for 25m and sell Yaya for 30m then I wouldn't be too put out by that.

I'd like to think we are interested in Fabregas regardless of the Yaya situation.

A midfield central quartet of Fernandinho, Fernando, Fabregas and Yaya would be unbelievable,

Re: Cesc Fabregas

This is too good an opportunity to turn down! Yaya will not hit the heights of last season again and if he wants out then his stock has never been so high. Yaya wants barca, barca want cesc out and we want cesc.......no brainer for me and we should push this for before the world cup! Thanks for all you've done yaya but eniugh is enough, city is more important than any big head or ego and we must get fabregas while its possible.

Re: Cesc Fabregas

Arsenal were briefing off the record late last night that Fabregas is not for them.

And the information I have is Fabregas coming to City needn't factor in a sale of either Yaya or Aguero, much as it would seem to appear a matter of course.

Fabregas' homegrown status is the big card.

I do not see Fabregas at Chelsea, either. United gone cold.

We have a number of outgoings that will more than free space and budget.

If we receive Spanish bids for Negredo or Navas, I would not be surprised to see us let one of them go.

Are you aware as to whether we have a genuine interest?

Re: Cesc Fabregas

If it was a choice between yaya and fabregas for me it would be yaya everytime...for me yaya,is just an all around better player and more influential.

If we could get fabregas and retain yaya even better.

Anything that involves kun going should be an absolute huge NO.

Surely if ee are getting barry, lescott and pants definitely off the wage bill with possibly kolorov and maybe milner then we can afford fabregas even with our potential other couple of purchases????????

Re: Cesc Fabregas

Fabregas £30mil
Benatia £30mil
Fernando £12mil
Sagna free

We'd only need to generate circa £20mil in sales to keep within the parameters, should be easy enough, and that's without taking account of the Yaya situation.
