It's going to come down to whether Arsenal want him and are prepared to pay the money. I'd be very surprised because they have Ramsey and Wilshere who both play that roll. If anything they need a much more robust Fernandinho type to compliment the two I've mentioned.
If Arsenal don't want him, and Barca are prepared to sell, I'd expect City to be front of the queue of British clubs because of the heavy Spanish influence at club plus the fact that Txiki and Fabregas have known each other for many many years.

Do not rule out United, mate.
They were all over him last summer and the lad definitely had his head turned by the sums on offer.

Ultimately though is Fabregas going to take the risk of joining a club who are in a heavy state of transition and certainly have no CL football for the next 12 months. Plus there's the fact that at management level there's uncertainty at United which is unprecedented. In the current climate I'd be absolutely staggered if he joined United regardless of the money on offer.
Van Gaal + Kroos I can see for the same reasons Txiki + Cesc at City I can see.

If reports are to be believed that we are well advanced with Fernando then would we look to sign Fabregas as well ? I suppose if you let Garcia and Rodwell go then it would be possible.
