CFA Living Quarters

Not that mental bearing in mind that most top-level clubs hire several people to operate a 24 hour service simply to cater to players' needs. They're there to do absolutely anything. If a player wakes up at 3am and wants to know how to cook eggs Benedict, they have to be able to answer. If they want to go for an impromptu game of paintball, they are there to book the session, drive the player there and probably join in too. If a player's 3 year old is having a birthday they are there to give recommendations on what presents to buy. They literally are employed to facilitate anything a player wants in their day-to-day lives. It's no real surprise they have a babysitter on site too.
I think a few points are a little far-fetched hahahaha.

Surely we've still got that Y registered minibus that we used to take them to and from the school assembly hall for the warm up next to Maine Road ?
I was right behind that mini-bus driving to the ground for the Wigan play off semi-final. I distinctly remember Terry Cooke's beady eye peering out of the back window. Fuck me it's another world really, isn't it?

It's called the Player Care & Support Department and whilst it's not quite as extreme as that, it is there to help facilitate any worries that our players or their families have in managing their own life which could stress them out or distract them from their job of playing football. It's ran by a bloke called Haydn Roberts and is considered to be one of the departments at City that are a world leader in the football industry, who developed it pretty much from scratch after the takeover.

There's an interview with him here:

so who forgot yaya birthday cake,

I have been fortunate enough to have been given a full tour of the academy side of the complex due to them wanting my son to join. as mentioned by someone earlier in this thread you can see some of the roof top terraces where the players living areas are from the viewing area inside the dome. The younger players rooms are on the other side of the complex from the first team.

I was told that there was a huge swimming pool for the first team in their section of the complex as well, but I don't think I have ever see that in any of the videos.

different age groups have their own relaxing lounges, with TVs, games consoles etc. the older the age group the more things they get in their lounge, like a reward system really. it is similar for the changing rooms as well. the academy gym and rehabilitation centre is awesome.

there is a fairly large restaurant area for the academy and they operate a sit in the next available seat policy so that it stops people sitting in little groups and encourages them to mingle not only with different people from their team but people in the different age groups.

it is amazing to see how many professional footballers and ex pros are there to watch their kids either playing for city or against City, they must go away and spread the word to everyone how amazing the place actually is.

I wish the stadium could provide the same price food as the parents area inside the complex. it isn't just the facilities that are so good, it is all the staff and coaches as well, they are excellent and very welcoming and always available if you have a concern.

I knew this place would be good, but when you see it, it is better than you could imagine.
Which explains why the rags and others are bricking it regarding our youth set-up.
