With 26 teams already qualified for the group stages the rest are fighting for just 6 places. So that is 54 hopefuls battling it out before the competition proper gets underway.

The bottom 4 association have completed their mini competition with Prishtina from Kosovo prevailing. The first matches in the 1st qualifying round have already taken place and the return legs are being played today and tomorrow. The 54 will have been reduced to 35 by then.

Keep up the good work, I always check your postings with my spreadsheet.

Bit nerdy but I love a good spreadsheet and this competion is great for it, even though I can't stand UEFA and its stupidly named competition.
 
Pot 2 looks scary on paper but actually shows the shift in power around Europe. Nothing to be scared of there, and will do us a lot of good to both have an interesting looking early round game, home and away, that can give us a bit of confidence to kick on.

They’ll be playing in next season’s CL. UEFA has had to suspend the investigation and any potential punishment following an injunction conveniently granted to the three clubs by a Spanish court. The process could drag on for a few years apparently.
I’m not sure which is more corrupt - UEFA or the dodgy injunction….
