So winning fouls and getting in the opponent's head isn't part of winning a game? What a load of shite.
Jack has been one of the hardest working and most committed players throughout the season, tracking back with goal line clearances and tackles and making chances at the other end. There's every chance we wouldn't even be talking about a treble without him. He's played his part, just like Nathan, Ilkay, Kev, Erl, Eddie, et al. To sum up his play as "getting fouled and not trying to win" shows such a desperate level of idiocy...
Embarrassing how certain fans persist with daft vendettas against our own players, it really is.
And you'd think after seven years of Pep, people might have cottoned on to the fact that nothing happens on that pitch without his say-so. If Jack is repeatedly getting fouled and having a little pop and cheeky grin at the opposition, it's because Pep is fine with it and potentially even encourages it. This is even more backed up by the fact that Jack virtually never gets in any trouble for his antics, and it more often than not results in opposing players getting booked and giving away more fouls and free kicks. It's shithousery 101 and he's proven to be a master of it, but apparently some are too thick to understand that. Scary.
