Inter aren't a Chelsea of 2021.
Pep won't be tinkering with his team this time, as it almost picks itself.
We arrive with an almost fully fit squad, with a double behind them.
Defensively, we are stronger without Zinchenko - who started in 2021 - whether Akanje or Ake starts.
Rodri is in fantastic form and is twice the player he was back then, when he was a sub.
Foden started and will probably be a sub this time.
The 2 other differences are Mahrez, who almost certainly won't start, and Sterling.
Instead of those 2, we have Grealish and Haaland - both of whom have been superb this season.
Add to all that the fact that 7 of the starting line up tasted defeat in the Champs League final in 2021 and they'll want to put that defeat against Chelsea to bed, which will gift them the treble, and footballing immortality.
The best team in the land and all the world.

there are reports of Mahrez starting ahead of Silva. please, this thing is getting really tense.

I don’t think Walker being out would be that much of a blow. Akanji would just move to right back and Ake left back. Akanji is hard to beat 1v1, as he’s proved over the past months.
I don’t think it’s the 1v1s that would be the problem. What we would miss would be Walker’s pace and his ability to prevent breakaway’s when we send players forward at corners.

We just don’t concede the sort of goal that Salah scored at anfield when Walker is in the team.

Kaz. Why do you have an agenda against some of our players. It used to be Mahrez now it’s Jack. That’s why you wind up some posters on here
Never been mahrez, i supported him when others didnt , i dont like grealish when he constantly just plays to wind people up, just play your game

im exited for this game City should win easy against this inter team they are nothing special hopefully we get a early goal then kick on from there
