Champions League Final | Istanbul Travel - Good to hear routes etc.

I am thinking with the game KO at 10pm, with possible extra time and trophy lift not getting out of the ground till gone 1ish, gonna be flying back to Antayla next day so may as well bin off an istanbul hotel and catch the 5am flight back stay out all night save the money.

Taksim Square will be renamed City Square for the weekend. Loads of blues staying in and around there. Loads of bars and Metro station too. Jobs a good un.

Where are all the Italians staying though ?
they had 24 hours start before us,maybe all these hotels around Taksim will be
50-50, nobody has mentioned this yet.

2 of use staying just off taksim square , metro park hotel cheap n cheerful, won’t be in it much,

Emding up booking something similar, "Simon hotel" (made sure its easy to pronounce incade i require directions) right off taksim square. £50 for the 2 of us for the night. middling "okay" reviews on booking.com but seems to be exactly what I require. Literally just need somewhere to leave bags during the match and get a few hours sleep, possibly less if we win.

Going Manchester to Hannover (1 hr stop in Amsterdam on the way) with KLM Friday AM, then Hannover to Istanbul arriving at 4.30pm with Turkish Airlines. Same route back on Sunday for a total of 370.00 each all in. Booked it Monday night and paid 26.00 each to reserve the price and flights until Thursday night. Both KLM & Turkish Airlines offered the 'pay later' option which was well worth the risk. We've got a 4star hotel in the centre of Istanbul for 140.00 each for 2 nights so the whole trip is 510.00. Bargain compared to the club trips.

Still looking for somewhere myself for thr Saturday night, i intended on going as basic as possible. from the chatter I'm hearing from others, taksim square or around there seems to be the safe bet.

I'm staying half a mile from taksim square but just 1 straight road so should be easy to find.
£70 for 2 nights with free cancellation.
Looks nice and has good (but not many) reviews.

i was a forward center, in my younger days, in istanbul, i also played in lower divisions in amsterdam....

i have the best heading :)) i am tall 1.90. ooo i am drinking today, i am a high a little at the moment. but thats right. no one can have the ''heading'' ... check the video

it is in 2016 i think....
i gave up football. still a good 10k runner (38 minutes)

What is the best resort where a lot of blues will stay?
I’m going to have a week over there and if I get a ticket I will fly or preferably coach from resort and if I don’t end up getting a ticket at least I can still watch in a nice resort with a few blues?
Don’t really fancy staying in a City for a week tbh.
