Nothing to do with tactics.

The tactics led to a whole series of simple counter-attacks and they would
have scored from one eventually.

Pep just had to try and be clever. Why not play the system that the players know?

Listen Chelsea defended as if their lives depended on it we didn’t play anywhere near what we are used too seeing and partly it’s on the players as good majority had stage fright but pep changing a line up that had overcome Dortmund and PSG says it all,well done Chelsea again bringing a manager in who still has time to adjust and his team didn’t have to play well to get the better of city bar defensively..

Why complicate things when things are simple. We are a better team than Chelsea and should beat them most times. They are nothing special yet we played into their hands, they must have jumped for joy when they saw our team sheet. The defeat is all on Pep and although he's still the best out there and we had an incredible season we should feel let down. Looking forward to next season. Congratulations Chelsea.

Ahhh. Such a shame. Really gutted but such a strange night as we just didn’t look like creating or scoring. Been a long old season and we need to remember we won the league a cup and got to the semi and a final of the others. I know we are all pissed off and there will no doubt be some shade thrown around tonight but come on let’s remember what these boys and pep have done this year. Hopefully we can tweak one or two things next season and come back stronger next year. Good night blues, I’m off to find the cat so I can kick something up the arse.

Tuchel has Pep’s number here.

Even with Zinch, Foden, Gundog, didn’t create nay a ripple of improvement. I hate to say this but it does really feel that Tuchel and chelsea have made a lot of effort and maybe technology in AI machine learn our tactic as a team and as individual players.

I’m not at all surprised if he lost against the lower teams but keeps on winning against us. If I were Tuchel new to the job, of course the first team that I want to deviscerate and analyse every granular detail will be us, Manchester City. He wants to win the league next year.

I have a bad feeling about the CL final, and this will keep me flapping to no end.

The way he’s played against us, that is more than chance. I have a feeling, and AIML is my area, that he has brought in AIML to data mine how our players play.

Because the difference between Pep and other coaches is that Pep has a rigid system. A brilliant and effective one, but a rigid one. Rigid systems are the easist to mine because the probability of chance is very low.

And a rigid system has a formula, or in my field an algorithm. Crack that formula and the weaknesses get found out.

Imagine how chess grandmasters get beat by AI, or Go grandmasters get bet by AI.

What I saw today was chelsea players knowing when to overcome our press and our patterns of passing. Its by no means perfect from chelsea, but it is stubborn.

What Pep has to do now is to read how Tuchel reads us. We won’t be able to read it from chelsea playing against other teams, because his tactic today was specifically for us. Hence why I believe Tuchel has got Pep’s number. Not by chance, but by hardwork in analysing our formula.

I posted these in the last post-match Chelsea thread. Tuchel knows how to nullify us and exploit the very few weaknesses we have, either on the field or by our team selection.

And when I mentioned of AIML some thought it was a far out idea. But a few days ago City ourselves uploaded a video of how we use SAP as our AIML and how it has improved our players. Surprise surprise.

The game preparation has changed. If I were Tuchel the first team formula that I would want to crack is City, because we are the likeliest candidate for this CL final if they were to reach it themselves.

Hate to say it through grinded teeth but the better team and more prepared team won.
