I feel sick with anticipation. I just had what has to be one of the worst sleeps of my life. Up every 15 mins checking the clock hoping it is later than what it is.

I am so excited/stressed about today. I am not confident about the game due to the fact that most teams playing in their first CL final don't win it. But this team can upset any odds.

It's weird, I have a shit memory but remember everything about that day, my first and only trip to the old Wembley.

Believe it or not that was my very first city game. I was 8, not really interested in football, and my dad took me to my first game that day. Safe to say I was hooked!

I never quite saw the darkest days so I've been lucky to see City always on the up, but it's still hard to believe where we are now. Come on City!

Spending quite a bit of time in Eccles at the moment as clearing my mum’s house out (she died of Covid just before Christmas). Historically my mum was a Cheadle Hulmer but moved in with an Eccles fella early 2000s, both have now unfortunately passed away. Pleasantly surprised how many Blues knocking about, had it down as proper bandit country, one house even has an Etihad sign on the front wall. You must be doing fine missionary work EB!

Sorry to hear about your Mum Harvester. I think I might know the house with Etihad sign. There’s another one on a block of flats as well. :-)
