Guardiola later insisted he had not insulted Lahoz during the half-time break, but went on to sarcastically label the Spanish official a "special guy" for his decisions against City at the Etihad Stadium.
"In the right moment we miss the right decisions," he told BT Sport.
"The referee is a special guy, he likes to be different.
"Whenever people see the things, he will decide the opposite."

He’s either as bent as Byron Moreno or one of the worst referees is living memory. This is not good news either way.

Might possibly work in our favour as he knows given the comments from Pep he will be under scrutiny. Always the chance that any referee can make a bad decision. We just have to focus on our own game and play as we can. Going to be tough but Pep knows a thing or two about finals.

Just rewatching that now and I can see why it could be perceived as a dive. Aguero actually hurdles the keeper and touches him with the toe of his boots. It’s obviously a penalty and Aguero did that to protect himself, but he did make a bit of a meal of it.

Can't agree with that. Just don't see it.

The bloke is as bent as a nine bob note, everything he’s done in the past two quarters he’s officiated has been done on purpose with the knowledge he’s safe from scrutiny from his employers.
