Done all six of the Champions league away games this season, with four of them travelling on my own.
Never felt alone on any of them, as you'll always meet fellow blues who you either know, or blues you just end up having a drink with.
Istambul will be no problem as there will be that many there you'll be tripping over them.

Same as this. Normally travel with my Dad but he’s getting back to full health after a scare last summer. Did Copenhagen Munich and Madrid alone, always meet someone you know or else you get to know someone. I’ve booked Istanbul alone too. Wouldn’t care if the final was on in North Sentinel Island, I would of travelled alone to it for this.
 
I’m flying out on my own but meeting a mate over there. If anyones flying from Manchester at 16:15 on the Friday let us know, happy to have a pint in the airport
 
I’ve often been brought across if I’m sitting alone. Many will have colours on or making a bit of noise. You’ll be fine.
 
Most blues I've seen online that have accommodations seem to be staying right in downtown of Istanbul; however, myself and some others that I know are going to stay in and around Basaksehir, much closer to the stadium and near the mall they've got there. Be interested to know if any other blues will be following suit just so the pubs aren't full of Inter fans haha
 
Loads of blues staying Taksim Square, rumoured to be one of the fan zone and transportation areas too. I suspect UEFA will confirm soon, which will be helpful to say the least. Why they couldn’t have these details out now is beyond me as they’ll, presumably, have the locations chosen and plans in place already.
