Im on the same route.I’ll be traveling alone
Iv booked 5 star hotel in Antalya lat month for 5 days also booked a internal flight to Istanbul on the Saturday 10th of June return Antalya Sunday
Internal flight only £65 .
Can’t wait

Done a couple of European away games on my own and on both occasions I got chatting to blues in pubs. In Leipzig I got chatting to a group of Leipzig fans and walked to the ground (beer in hand) with them.
If you want to be social just park your arse in a seat around blues that are drinking and you'll find yourself in the conversation soon enough.

I’m leaving the wife and kids in Antalya and arrive 10am morning of the game, staying at the kartal palace hotel in taksim square! Are there bars all over taksim square then? Take it from what I’ve read that’s where everyone is heading!?

Flying solo but will meet mates there. Anyone need cheap transport from the airport to Taksim use the Havabus service, beats paying big bucks in a taxi.
I’m exactly the same route, 9.25 flight from Antalya to Istanbul on Saturday morning, staying at kartal palace, taksim square.fly back to Antalya sun 11.45 Be good if there’s a few blues at the airport to share a cab with or summat. Can’t wait come on cityIm on the same route.

Yes I am too. Confirmation that I would get a ticket yesterday but too late to book club travel flights. Have booked return flights to Manchester going out on 9th and returning on 12th but not booked transfers or hotels yet. So looking forward to ideas or availability on hotels and best way to travel from the airport and getting back from the game.I'm traveling alone to the Champs League Final (Friends and family won't get tickets). Is anyone else doing the same? Where is everyone basing themselves? Cheers

Hope you're right we're there. I start getting fomo when I read what everyone else is doing. Most European aways are centred round one area or square. Istanbul is massiveYou can’t go wrong with Taksim Square.

Going to use this bus to Taksim Square then get a taxi from there instead.
I booked my hotel through booking.com and managed to get a taxi to Taksim for 33 euros which was much cheaper than what my hotel quoted
Yeah mate we’ll i land in Istanbul 10.40 on the Saturday morning so can catch up somewhere in taksim square if you like, as I’ll probably still be with the family on the Friday night!Slightly different times but happy to catch you for a couple beers Friday night.
