Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

They used "majority" which might suggest 4000/2000. They will know how many spike has sold.
Probably clutching at straws.
Why would Spike’s flights be any different to any other independent traveller?
I won’t get a ticket either way but I’ve seen the comment a few times and I don’t understand why they would be any different

I have been stuck archiving in a dusty cellar all afternoon and had no reception on my phone. Just saw all of this! WOW! I have been a season ticket holder for 38 of my 46 years supporting the Blues. I will be honest I was wavering about going on an official trip, 14300 points and on CL scheme so going off what was being said on here I assumed that a decision would have to be made either way by myself and realised that every brownie point earned so far and for at least another couple of years with the better half would have been well and truly cashed in to have justified the cost. I haven't spent anything really during this whole Covid nightmare and have been completely unaffected financially - I have been extremely lucky.
Now I don't expect to get on this trip anymore and hope that ALL the tickets go to supporters who have put the hard yards in down the years, I stopped going to away matches, barring Wembley, on a regular basis years ago now and have only been to Madrid and Paris to watch City in Europe.

I am happy for anybody that gets inside the stadium by whatever means on the 29th.

City are in the Champions League Final that will keep me warm at night thank you.

p.s. I am going on Sunday so it's not all bad.
Off topic: What kind of archives do you work at?

Have a season ticket myself, but cant remember having to do anything for renewal this season due to COVID. Was there an option to sign up for cup schemes?
There was no option for cup schemes this year.

There's the possibility that people who signed up for the cup scheme in 2019 might be given priority for the 2021 Final, which would be a big stroke of luck for them if so.

I would have thought 4000:2000 too.

It's also possible that quite a number who booked the trip with Spike, or arranged independent travel, won't have enough points to qualify for a ticket (assuming they are using points) but booked in the hope that all the hassle involved would mean the demand would be low and that they would be able to get a ticket. With the free trip, it's more likely to sell out at a higher number of points and so probably not all of independent travellers will get a ticket.

Was on the cup scheme for 19/20. League cup final took this into consideration for tickets and went through the scheme first. Surely will be the same for this.

It wouldn’t be a stroke of luck. It would be being rewarded for putting the money in to go to Champions League games.

People who were on the last cup scheme absolutely should have first dibs. If they don’t then it would be fair if they sacked the scheme off next time.
