Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

It says transport from Porto airport to the fan zone and transport from the stadium to the airport

it doesn’t say anything about being compulsory to stay in the fan zone

it also says nothing about transport from the fan zone to the stadium

this could mean the fan zone is at the stadium or could mean once at the fan zone you can do what you want then make your own way to the stadium

the stadium is only a mile from the city centre so hopefully it will be ok to move freely between the two
The fun zone will compulsory for day trippers and rigidly enforced.
It will be remote and nowhere near the town centre
it will be dry, just like the planes.
If you think it will be anything other than a sterile centre of misery then you are deluding yourself.

Clutching at straws but why didnt they Carabao Cup sell out with such limited numbers?

Maybe this will reach low points with the tickets so expensive, great gesture by the boss for the free flight but I'd fancy my chances if he never done it and prices were £515 a ticket!
Have you ever been on a dry coach to London with the official supporters club? Not something you’d do twice

Just to be clear, if you are flying Friday morning you need to take your PCR test by the earliest Tuesday morning? Looking at hill using Eurofins which is postal service, so take test on Tuesday and send off, they receive Wednesday and provide results within 24 hours so received by Thursday, take the test any later then you may not receive the result/certificate in time. Everyone agree????

How can they justify £515 & £386 pounds for a game of football, scandalous.
I don’t understand why there isn’t uproar about this with all fans getting behind how much of a scandal it is especially in the middle of a pandemic and after this super league fiasco .. uefa saying they are for the fans what a load of bollocks .

Check the reviews for eurofins mate they are not great seem a bit sketchy, I will use them for the return one in England as only £45 , but will probs use one where get same day results and have it done in person just for the reassurance .. for the flight out

UEFA are in it for whatever they can wring from TV Companies, Sponsors and the paying public. Corrupt organisation from bottom to top.

COVID-19 TESTING:

Sport Options have partnered with Collinson, the UK’s leading Covid testing provider, to support the Covid testing needs of Manchester City fans travelling to the Champions League Final in Porto.

Collinson are fully approved by the UK Government through their UKAS Accreditation and are the only in-airport test provider to cover all major UK airports. A key part of their service is the ability to offer easily accessible and downloadable ‘Fit to Fly’ certification that you’ll need for your trip.

We’re delighted to be able to confirm that Sport Options have been able to negotiate a 20% discount from Collinson’s website prices for all of our customers who are travelling to Porto. This can be received by using the discount code – SPORTOPTIONS20OFF (more details below).

Collinson have multiple testing locations and are able to offer the following service at Manchester Airport to enable you to meet all of the testing requirements for your trip. The same services are also available at Heathrow (T2 & T5), Stansted, East Midlands, London City, Luton, Gatwick (APH Car Parking) and at The O2 Arena in London.

To fully meet the testing requirements for both Portugal and the UK you will need to do the following:

  • Use this link to access the Collinson website to book your test - https://www.collinsongroup.com/en/covid-19-testing/sport options
  • You will need to book the following tests:
    • Pre-departure PCR – you must take this test 72 hours before you travel. It will take 48 hours to get the result and so please don’t leave it too late otherwise you won’t be allowed to fly. You can access the Collinson website and book a slot at Manchester Airport to take your test. You will need to pay for this test at the Manchester Airport clinic and by giving your discount code to the Collinson team you will pay a 20% discounted price of £66. Collinson will send your fit to fly certificate as soon as the negative result is received from their laboratory.
    • Pre-departure Lateral Flow (Antigen) – because your time in Portugal is so short, you don’t need to take a Lateral flow/ Antigen test before you return to the UK. Instead, you can book a slot at Collinson’s Manchester Airport clinic for the day that you travel. The results are typically available in 45-60 minutes and this will cover you for your return flight to the UK. Again, you’ll pay for this at the airport and if you give your discount code to the Collinson team, you’ll pay the 20% discounted price of £32. This is much more convenient than trying to find somewhere to get tested in Porto before boarding your return flight.
    • Green Arrivals – Green PCR – when you land back into the UK you will be required to take a PCR test on or before Day 2 of your arrival. You must pre-book a slot to take your PCR test at Collinson’s Manchester airport clinic for when you arrive back. This test must be paid for on-line and by using the discount code you will pay the 20% discounted price of £66. Collinson are currently working on an alternative option for you to purchase and collect a Home testing PCR kit when you land that you can take home and send back in the post to their laboratory. This will have a reduced cost of £60 plus £2.50 postage and we will be able to let you have more details as to how to book this before your trip.
    • Please note that you will need to have purchased and paid for your green arrivals PCR test BEFORE you board your return flight as you’ll need to include the booking reference in the passenger locator form that you have to complete as part of your return trip.
If you have any questions, please contact Collinson using this e-mail address and they’ll be happy to answer any questions that you may have - consumerhelp@collinsongroup.com

Travel requirements

1) As per government guidelines, all people travelling between the UK and Portugal must show proof of a negative PCR covid-19 test before boarding. The test must be taken within 72 hours of departure of both your outbound and return flight*. You will need to find a test provider for the trip (see above), making sure the provider meets the standards for pre-departure testing, as per the government website. As per the guidance, this should not be an NHS test.

*You must ensure that a negative test is valid upon your re-entry back into the UK for Sunday 30th May 2021

Give it a rest mate

Regarding the day 2 test when we return. Can this be done using one if the at home test kits? If so, how do you go about proving that you have a test booked when you haven't really got one booked as you've got a DIY kit.

My understanding is that you have to have a test booked upon arrival back into the UK. If you don't you could be fined. Is that correct
