Can I just put out a post to say if anyone is in or around the Ambleside/Hawkshead area on the night of the CL final, the guy who runs the Outgate pub, which lies in between the two is putting the match on and making a night of it. He’s a true blue from West Gorton and is doing a great job, I have to say the pint of Dizzy Blonde and Citra IPA is exceptional, and the steins of Helles Lager go down very well. As for the food......put it this way, it is far far better than the jerk chicken at the Green Man. I am not the guy in question.......honest, just want to put the word out for a blue who is very passionate and I think is doing a great job in trying times, with really good staff .

This is a bad idea. You can't get 100,000 in the Etihad. Much better in town. In 2011 we had 35,000 in the stadium and another 100,000 in town and that was just the FA Cup.

Drive the bus around town and stop fucking about.

Had some mates round and a few bevs in the garden with a projector for both the FA Cup semi and the Chelsea game on Saturday evening. Will be watching the CL final on my own in the dark.

I was intending to be at the ground for the last game (in or out) and then boozing in town. Wanting to pub crawl but the way things are sounding on here, that won’t be on. Got a room booked at the Mal, but don’t fancy the hotel bar all night. After the 93:20, we ended up on Canal Street as all boozers were rammed - but I’m guessing even all those establishments will be fully booked in the present climate.
So Blues, please post if anything crops up.
For the Champs League I have Turkey and Lisbon rooms booked but no flights. I might go to London without a ticket but fear not getting in a pub to watch it - all Box Parks are already sold out. Hopefully Manchester Council or City will put something on.
