Champions League Games 19/20 October

Shit results in the end apart from ours obviously.

Just have to make sure we beat psg in the home game. We’ll definitely qualify though. It’s the later rounds we need to be careful, refs under instruction to favour certain teams.

Atletico were stupid, daft sending off by having your foot that high, and shit defending for the pen. Officials don’t need much excuse to help the scouse twats.

Still not having that a push in the chest of Mbappé by a player travelling in the same direction was a pen. That happens all the time when players jostle for position. A push in the back can send you off balance maybe, this what not that and there was nowhere near enough force to cause Mbappé to fall backwards and go down with his arms in the air like that. He didn't back himself to go all the way, so he sold that contact theatrically. I've seen defenders literally bodycheck our players to the ground by deliberately stepping across them in the CL in the box and get nothing(Sterling, Bernardo, seem to remember a Foden one too but not quite sure if that was the CL or not).

Didn't see much wrong with the other decisions apart from the fact that I can just as easily see them going the other way for their darling clubs.

Vigil is spent.
Waves his arms around like the Christ overlooking the Brazilian City when in fact he's too busy passing the buck every time a team scores against those scouse feral's
He did that pre-injury too. That stat about him not being dribbled passed for however long it was, was mainly due to him regularly running away from the ball. He will only ever engage if there's nobody else nearby for him to direct towards the ball.

To me Griezmann wasn’t as stonewall when you realize another AM player shoved Firminho into G’s boot. But I can understand it. I don’t see the difference in the two potential pen calls. Attacker eye on the high ball and defender behind charges shoulder to back, not to shoulder. Both pens in my book. Can’t see much difference other than Jota isn’t strong enough to stay up in the first case, or to shove the attacker over in the second.
Just dont see that. Liverpool one a certain pen. Athletico one a certain dive. Seen in 5 or 6 times and would be apoplectic if given against City

*Although there would be a different decision if this involved City

Dias makes him look like Spencer Prior

Might be a good replacement for the Angel of the North so.
a bid from Newcastle is imminent
