Champions League Games 5/6 March

Rather play them lot than PSG. Real, PSG and one of Juventus or Atleti out before the quarter finals. With a bit of luck (and impartial referees) we have a real opportunity this season

Is there such a thing as an impartial referee ?

The evidence from most games is that they are either corrupt or just totally incompetent.

Just asked my Rag mate when was the last time a dodgy decision went against United...

Took him 30 minutes to reply, probably Google searching, Rashford red card from ages ago.

I could call out 4 or 5 in the last month or so.

What a strange decision. I couldn't believe it initially but nothing surprises me in football anymore.

I also said there’s obviously confusion when ex pros and ex refs are disagreeing with each other.

What hope do fans have?

That’s just an indictment of how bad the current law makers/refs are to have let it get to the mess it’s in

You do realise that ball took a fraction of a second to hit him. And you think he did all that Intentionally?? Give over
Where did I say it was intentional?

That may be the law but every single ref will tell you that the law and the interpretation of the law are two different things.

Also keepers make reaction saves and movements of their arms and bodies from much closer range. Everyone seems to be suggesting that people cant move in or out of the way. If he stays facing the shot and doesn’t rotate his body 180 degrees (which is no mean feat) then how right elbow doesn’t make contact with the ball.

Again to clarify, that’s not me saying I’d have given a penalty, it’s explaining why the penalty may have been given and is entirely consistent with the only other var handball decision in this seasons CL.

If you want to try and start or continue any other arguement then I’m out.
