Champions League Games 7/8 May

So UEFA have said “All relevant angles were made available to the referee to take his decision”. Would that be all the angles that are relevant to ensuring the goal wasn’t disallowed?

The statement is correct. What is ambiguous is how many of those angles made available did the ref choose to view?

Watch what the ref is shown on loop.
There is a “still” of the view from behind the goal (which BT broadcast in motion before the ref went to the screen to have a look) however the ref is provided the ambiguous angle on loop a few times - rewind play again - rewind play again.
I can’t believe a blue would argue this point???

I literally watched it in real time, the ref only saw it from one angle looking from the corner flag, he didn’t see the footage from behind the goal - the one that shows the handball clearly (it was posted on here immediately after as well, I’m sure you saw it!). BT had already shown both angles before the ref had a look at the screen so I knew there were two angles available. The ref was only shown one angle as the TV cameras shown the ref looking at the screen and you could blatantly see he was only shown the incorrect angle, whilst he was looking at the screen you could also see the footage he was watching and the camera stayed on him until he walked away from the screen so at no point was he shown anything we didn’t watch with him whilst he was having a look himself. He walked away and sort of shrugged his shoulders as if to say he couldn’t see the handball.
Even Pep said he wasn’t shown the definitive angle ffs??? I give up, you carry on believing UEFA. I’ll believe my own eyes and our manager. Cheers for the links (only one has the quote)
As I said, I'm only quoting what UEFA have said, I never stated it as fact which is why I said apparently in the first instance. If he wasn't shown all available angles as you say then that's inept on their part. I think it would have stood anyway as it wasn't delibrate but that's besides the point.

See the footage above.
Did you not watch the game and see it happening?

That was cruel for ajax. Spurs got their agueroooo moment. That has to be all the drama done for one week, there surely can't be any more

I did but I couldn't remember if we were shown everything on TV that the referee was shown. Watched the clip and it does look as though he was only shown one angle so either UEFA lied or different angles were made available and the referee chose not to view them all. Although, if he only needed to determine whether or not it was deliberate then he may have only needed to see that one angle.
