Champions League Group Stage

He didn't whirl the balls when he picked up the first one?

And he's only choosing teams, not who they are playing*
Not that I am a conspiracy theorist but for argument's sake:

1. There's no reason to whirl the balls each time he picks one. If anything, the randomisation principle would imply, with that small a set, doing so a few times would just return them mostly to their original position, defeating the purpose of doing it in the first place.

2. He indeed only picks the team but, because of the various restrictions they have implemented in groupings, the order of the picks matters to the final outcome. It would require some permutational math but there is conceivably a way to "stack the deck" so certain teams are much more likely to play certain other teams in the group stage (beyond the restrictions they've already implemented).

I'm not saying he picked it up, realised it was the wrong ball, and then put it down again because it is fixed. I am just saying it is not outside the realm of possibility.

Massive eh

Yes they are a massive club traditionally. Annoys me when premier league fans have this superiority complex. Gladback are a good team now and in terms of Europe history.People think that Pep will magically turn us into champions league winners. He won't, he couldn't with Bayern Munich. It will take time and be a step by step process.

Are all these games going to be show passport to obtain ticket? Want to book Celtic & gladbach away but I've got 12.5k points so don't want to book stuff and then not get a ticket.

Surely they won't do that for Celtic away !?!

Getting to Glasgow is free, just go to the airport, as all travel to airport is free to members of this forum. Anyway cost me £24 on the train for 2 singles.
