Champions League home ticket package

Glad I opted out of the Cup Schemes this year (due to the excessive increase in Season Ticket prices) otherwise I'd be seriously skint?

Watching on TV for me I'm afraid

Well said

We'll said? Ok I was just making the point that the average man is being priced out of games fact!! What do those blues who have mega shit jobs like stacking shelves in aldi for a mere £14k a year do when City are charging £33 to watch us play a team like Plzen on a wet Tuesday night?? Answer is they can't afford it but they would like to go!!

As for this mentality that because lower league clubs like Bury charge £20 a game then it's ok for us to charge £35-40 is stupi!! Why don't lower league clubs up there price to £50 then we can charge £70!!! Stupid d**khead!!

You make some good points. However you have some non league clubs charging £10 quid entrance these days (2 x kids go free with an adult)
So relatively speaking £33 is not that expensive for a CL game.
Ticket pricing for football games in the UK is ridiculous from the top to the bottom.

Agree about the overpriced tickets everywhere in the country but I cant believe some blues seem happy with the idea that if you can't afford to go then tough coz I'm alright jack coz I've got lots of cash!! Some football fans are assholes!!

My step dad has been a blue since the 70s and he's been everywhere up and down the country but stopped going 2 years ago! He simply can't afford to go so he must not be a true city fan anymore according to certain posters!! Pathetic!!

Best games of last season were the European games. Dortmund at home was a footballing lesson, and an amazing atmosphere created by the Dortmund fans

Understand your position though. If you can't afford it you have to make a choice, and the League games are the priority.

£33 per game is a bargain compared to the standard for other games, but it all adds up

Hamburg is one of the top three atmospheres ever.

At least Ali B has beer at home. We don't even get that in Europe.

I agree. Love European games. Different teams and players, styles and fans. Just can't afford/justify £200 for the wife and I to go to 3 games of football

£43 for Bayern £28 for others, sorry but i go to watch City, not a JCL who the club think should pay £15 extra to see Robben,Ribery etc

I complained to club last week over £24 for a 9 year old against Hull, responded with a patronising phone call off some woman "look at other clubs" "its the premier league" couldnt give a shit what west ham charge, dont recall prices going up cause the canon league or milk cup changed name/brand.

Sort it out City

It's always been the case that you pay more for premium fixtures.

South Stand Tier 2 league prices more expensive than £33 per game for European games!! Much more expensive

Truth is if we were to charge Match-Day prices for European fixtures, the ground would be half empty. And if we defend like we have been doing away in the Czech Republic, they probably will be half empty whatever the price

I'm on the cup scheme. I don't think I've been charged yet, I've had no email and it isn't showing on my account. Also not complaining about the total price of the bundle - £75 on the 18-21 bracket I think is fairly reasonable for three champions league games. The big issue with all of this is the bundle price is misleading for people on the cup scheme. It says cup scheme members 'will be charged the equivalent bundle price per game'. Now my initial thought, like most people here, was that it meant three equal payments - so £33 for adults, £25 for 16-21. So it's fair enough that people are questioning £43 being debited when it looked like they'd take £33. All they needed to do was put out the individual ticket details for Bayern at the same time they advertised the bundle and it would all have been fine.
