BWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Cry me a fucking river !!
And if you read my posts I stated that I could understand peoples frustration,if they couldn`t get their "ST Seat",but have they EVER been guaranteed, for other matches outside of the PL ??
Always some other fuckers fault and never the supporter, when things go tits up.
How long have we known about being moved ?? Well as I`ve said before, this same subject was brought up on another similar thread some 7-10 days ago, when another Supporter warned us.
I`m not being smug at all,as I know this is the only CL game I can attend out of the 3 games, due to my financial situation. However I ensured that I knew well in advance how and when to hopefully get my ticket for my regular ST Seat.Yes I read the OS on ticket information.Thought thats where and why iot was initiated,to help and raise awareness to Supporters.
Seeing that we`ve waited for this moment for years playing in the CL,does it really concern you that much where you sit ??
I`d have taken a fucking seat anywhere in the ground, just to be at this game.
And how exactly did you secure your regular season ticket seat..despite you saying you read the facts on this forum and the OS, i still don't think you grasped the facts, you were not in the cup scheme so it would have been impossible to secure you usual seat !! You may have been fortunate enough to be able to buy it, but only if someone in the Cup scheme chose not to buy it.. I didn't realise i had to read every bluemoon thread to keep informed of changes in ticketing policy..

Think you need to read my qoutes a bit more clearly !!!!!

I quote '
However I ensured that I knew well in advance how and when to hopefully get my ticket for my regular ST Seat.'

so you where aware that someone on the cup scheme could buy your seat before you had the option to buy it..

I knew that I could lose my ST Seat from someone who had joined the cup scheme.
However as soon as I had the cash available I went to the ground and asked if my seat had been alocated already and thankfully for me it hadn`t.
But in all honesty had it gone then hand on heart I wouldn`t have minded where I sat,as I`ve waited since our last time way back in 1968 from appearing in the old European Cup.

How and when did you discover you could loose your seat ? because you are certainly in the minority, the main gripe is most of us didn't know. Had you not known you could loose it and turned up to buy your normal seat to be told it had been sold , do you think you may have felt a tad hard done to by the club ?

As I`ve said before NO seats are guaranteed from your ST,for other matches than PL !!
If you had bothered to read the previous thread some 10 days ago,the OP told us then.
This is now the 3rd time I`ve comented on the previous thread so I think you`re now taking the piss or wumming !!
You need to look at a particular word that I used before !! "HOPEFULLY" my ST seat hadn`t already been allocated !!

No i didn't read the other thread, and i wouldn't have to expect to have to rely on a fans forum thread to highlight changes in ticketing policies. You still haven't answered my questions..

I've read your posts, some of which appear very contrived, nothing that you have said has made me change any of my opinions, so i'm not sure what battle i am losing...or what errors i have made.

For your benefit from the OS ref Tickets and Seating.

join the Cup Scheme, will I be able to keep my usual seat for all the home cup games?

We will try our best, but unfortunately, due to certain stadium configuration changes deemed necessary by the Club, and the rules, regulations and requirements of the competitions in which the Club participates, we cannot guarantee that your usual seat will be available for every home cup game. If your seat isn’t available, we will give you a sales period to select an alternative seat before they go on sale to other Membership holders who are not registered in the Cup Scheme.

I don’t wish to join the Cup Scheme, but I am planning to attend as many home cup games as possible. As a seasonal member, will I be able to keep my usual seat for all the home cup games?

We will try our best, but your seasonal seat is not reserved or guaranteed and will be available to Superbia and Gold/Platinum Cup Scheme members who need to select alternative seats. All Gold and Platinum members will then have a sales period to select their seasonal seat or an alternative seat before they go on sale to Blue members and then non-seasonal members.

I'm in the cup schemes and got my seat so I'm alright Jack!

Season ticket guarentees 19 home league games and nothing else! FACT

Stop blaming the club everytime something goes wrong!

Jesus, what a boring thread. Can't stand the threads with really long posts, as I invariably think they need to be read as someone has gone to the effort of posting it - only to find out I've wasted half and hour!

Anyway, I suppose I need to check my emails tonight when I get home to see if I've lost my seat in 202!

To be clear.
This or something very similar was on the OS at the time seasoncards went on sale.

The bottom line is people either didn't read it or just assumed it wouldn't affect them. Elsewhere on the OS it also explained the implications of CL seating, it didn't give exact locations but it was obvious the areas of the ground that would be effected.

You say 'What exactly do you expect them to do' .. simple, email all season ticket holders explaining clearly the different Cup schemes, and more importantly the implications of not being in a cup scheme, ie the fact you may well lose your seat. Also email all season ticket holders who will be moved for Champions league games, expaining that for them to have the best chance of getting a seat in a near vicinity they should join the Cup scheme. Having said that do we know how many non season ticket holder seats are available in the ground, and where those seats are, could we arrive in a position where even a season ticket holder is not guaranteed a home seat for a champions league game? I personally didn't even realise you could join a Cup scheme just for the Champions League, i thought it was one Cup scheme for all the Cups, this is despite me asking the question on the ticket sales line. The least they can do is allow anyone who is going to be moved to have another chance to join the Champions league Cup scheme.

I was pointing out the fact they have to move people and there is no way round that. I agree they should have let people know much earlier. The person in question i was responding to was saying he felt sorry for people losing their seat because they are not on the cup scheme, and they should be given a chance to claim it. He then went on to say that he didnt want to move to the third tier. So the "what do you expect them to do" was aimed at him. He doesnt want to move into someones seat but equally he doesnt want to move to a lesser seat. Damned if they do damned if they dont.
The handling of this whole sorry episode has been appalling. No consultation and answers provided to the fans.
Who made the decision to move that particular area of the ground and blame it on Uefa.
Giving the club an out with the "damned if they do" rubbish is crap mate.
My point is proved by the fact just 18000 people registered for the champs lg cup scheme as it patently was not made clear enough what the consequences would be if they did not. i remain sorry for the guys whose tickets i have been allocated for that reason. Had all 36000 season ticket holders exercised their right to join the scheme, i and all of blocks 204 and 206 would be relocated to 7000ish seats left over. Now how can it be that i pay the most in the ground for my season ticket as i have done for donkeys years and then get moved to the worst seats away from my mates and fans i have known for years.
The main point i am making is that no one is questioning the club on this.
Take AS Monaco for example. Capacity 18000. Are you trying to tell me that Uefa demand 1500 - 2000 prime tickets ( they demand more the further you progress ) off them with their high roller fans.
Its the same every time you see champs lg on tv, English clubs abide by the front two rows not being sold rule, but foreign teams ( especially Turkey ) tell them to sod off.
Answers need providing and my " split in our support " comment stands. Just look at most threads on here.

In the cup everybody pays the same price anyway. The only variant is your age.

I just think it's a poor to way to go about this, splitting season ticket holders into haves and have nots.

Those fans who cannot afford to join the cup scheme because they don't know how much the tickets are going to be or when the club will take the money should not shunted around the stadium because of this.

I'm in this category, I run a lot of my financial affairs by old fashioned cash. I like to know how much things are so I can budget for it. I also never miss a cup game at home, I don't miss many away either but thats beside the point.

I can see the cup scheme has been brought in to encourage the stay away fans to go to fa and carling cup games, but this is fuck all to do with me, as I always go anyway!

Yes I know my s/t doesn't guarantee my seat for cup, it never has done. But I always had a window of opportunity to secure it, now it seems I don't deserve that any longer as the club have already allocated my seat to a richer, financially better off person than me.

We are going down the rag route.

Incidentally, for those people saying it's my own fault for not finding the facts out, why couldn't the club just email people. It sure wasn't in the booklet they sent out with the renewals, and surely I'm not expected to check in at the OS every other day to see if my seats been given away am I? And if it was on here, why was it left to a fucking fans forum to spread official ticketing policy news?

My point is me and what i can see as the majority of other season ticket holders where not aware of the implications of not being in the Cup scheme, so perhaps just putting a note about it on the OS is not sufficient. I feel the club could have gone to a little more effort to keep us informed. I realise they perhaps have a thankless task in keeping everyone happy due to the logistics of the champions league games, but it would help if we were kept informed in a more direct manner than expecting us to pick up everything that is posted on the OS.

That part he has put up was under the membership FAQs, you would have thought with membership being new this year most people would have taken the time to read it.

But even that doesn't give the full picture does it? Had they said,
"For CL games we'll have to give UEFA half of level 2, therefore some of you will have to move. Anyone in the UEFA seats (blocks x -x) will definitely have to move. Anyone in level 2 not in the cup scheme will find that their seat will be offered to one of those fans moving to make way for UEFA." I think things would have been clearer to all and people might have made different choices based on that.

Exactly....i see that, you see that, countless others see that, but still we have some very smug or ignorant people telling us it is our fault and the club could have done no more.... i think enough has been said , i await the clubs response...
