Championship Thread - 2023/24

Big pressure on them on monday lunchtime, at home to Norwich. They ought to win that game. If they drop more points, though, the chasing pack will smell blood. Thoughts, @Quilted?
In the 2019/2020 season, we bottled a Top 4 UCL spot despite being in the top 3 for over 90% of the season.
In the 2020/2021 season, we again bottled a Top 4 Champions League spot despite being in the top 3 for over 90% of the season.

Funny enough, had we at least qualified for Champions League in just one of those seasons, we would have not been relegated in the first place. Neither would we have FFP issues at all now. The trajectory was looking upwards and beyond.

3 losses and 1 draw in our last 5 games, bottling Top 4 let alone Top 3 when it most mattered

Then next year again 3 losses and 1 draw in our last 5 games, you can't make this stuff up. Its like its scripted!

We all knew missing the UCL spot back to back 2 years in a row was a Brendan Rodgers side-effect + injuries, but I fear this mental weakness may still linger on in this club.

We 100% need to win on Monday to turn things around.

Must be a horrible feeling, giving it the big 'un to the opposition fans after scoring in front of them, only to have the goal chalked off for offside.
