Champs League Draw

Quote is that "...proposals are in place..." no guarantee of a change - unless the proposals are:

1) Champions League Winners in pot 1
2) League Champions in pot 1
2) a) CAVEAT I - if you are owned by wealthy Middle Eastern gentlemen you may well be left in pot 2
2) b) CAVEAT II - if your son is on the board of a football club owned by wealthy Middle eastern gentlemen you will move to pot 1
2) c) CAVEAT III - Caveat II only applies if you are the head of UEFA
2) d) CAVEAT IV - for the avoidance of doubt, if you play football in east Manchester , play in sky blue and are called Manchester City Football Club then you will always be in pot 2 at best
We're the reason they're considering the rules change.

On a serious note, there has to be some way of differentiating between different leagues in terms of their strength. Funny as it would be, putting Arsenal in Pot 4 wouldn't be much better than having Roma in there. Each league needs a score (which they currently have), and then you can allocate points to the qualifying teams. For instance, let's say England's was 100, then 1st place has that score multiplied by 1. 2nd place gets it multiplied by 0.8, and so on. I wouldn't like to see the 1st placed Portuguese or Russian team being seeded higher than whoever finishes 2nd out of Real/Barca or City/Chelsea and so on.

perhaps the critical posters abusing posters who
dared to question the fairness of the draw may with to consider their position.

love it.
Who abused who?
tbf there were a fair few last night making such jolly japes as 'put your tampons back in', 'stop wetting your knickers' and the usual intellectualised comments these cerebrally challenged posters come up with aimed at those who said the Euro Co-efficients are out dated and/or protecting a select few

The winds of change are ruffling the feathers of the establishment.

Even Mr Wenger will not be able to give a good reason to maintain the status quo in the face of such obvious unfairness.

He should be ashamed to ever critisise City again for any financial advantage they gain from having owners who actually invest in their club rather than waiting for a share dividend like Arsenal owners.

I would not be at all surprised if Bayern M. applied pressure as well as the opportunistic 'Cher Michel' who thinks he knows where he will next butter his bread.

This really might happen as soon as 15/16?

Looks that way mate, I reckon even UEFA will have been a tad embarrassed as to how stupid that draw has ended up yesterday - no-one wants to see the same teams playing in the same groups, dull as fuck.

This. Bottom line is no one wants to play us because we are a very good team.
We've played BM for 3 out of 4 years and the draw this year has seen a degree of stagnation.
