i think it's time a lot of us grew a pair and said 'bring it on'

give us the hardest group, i seriously think we should top any group that the draw can throw at us. 7 points at home and 6 away, good stuff.

Always thought this, when we was shit and dreamed of City in the CL I wanted us to play barca, real and all the "big boys", I never once thought "you know it would be cool to play that shit team from Bulgaria"...

Im the opposite, I want the shit team from Bulgaria because it will be a much better trip than the one to Barcelona in March. Look at pot1, crap trips. Just my opinion though and I understand im in a minority.

Barca was not a shit trip at all. Best of the lot for me. I know people had bad experiences at the nou camp but I was just happy to be there never thinking I would be watching city in the champions league knockout stage.

I'd like to see us get an "easier" Pot 1 team for once, we've had Real and Bayern (twice) in our group, and we've drawn Barca in the knockout stages. As we can't get Chelsea or Arsenal then I'd much prefer one of the 2 Portuguese sides, Porto would be the easiest draw, but Benfica has a nice ring to it!

Pot 3 has a couple of tricky sides in there, I'd prefer to avoid Bilbao, and trips to Turkey and Russia (with their plastic pitch). Leverkusen wouldn't be easy either. If we don't get Porto/Benfica from Pot 1 then Sporting Lisbon might be nice, we owe them for the Europa League a few seasons ago. Olympiakos are probably the "easiest" option.

Pot 4 is all about avoiding Roma and Monaco, everyone else should realistically be 2 wins for City. Quite like the idea of Maribor, or Ludogorets, Malmo too for that matter.

Great thinking fellas! Anything that will hinder our chances significantly of progressing in the champions league, winning the premiership, FA and league cups is fine by me...

Hypothetical question - if we were given an easy run all the way to the final, meaning our chances of winning the CL were odds on, would you want that or would you want a difficult run against the little clubs where we've very little chance of wining it?

The big boys will come sooner or later. I'l take the easiest group possible please (preferably with Leverkusen and Anderlecht for the trips)

There are so many good teams in pot 2 that we'll more than likely get a tough round of 16 match whether we finish top or 2nd in the group.

Therefore, screw an easy group, I want decent trips.

This! I'd rather go to an unknown, somewhere we've not been before, fuck Madrid and Barca, Plzen was a cracking trip last year, miles better than Barca.

I would'nt say no to Porto again, cracking trip which involves plenty of these:
