Whereas before you’d hear the odd moan at the ground and in the pub. Now it’s relentless hatred absuse online and social media - which seeps into the fans. It’s played a big part and little wonder managers get sacked so often nowadays.

The odd moan? Back in the day on the Kippax everyone was moaning,thats how it was..and then you had your Maine Stand moaners,the kippax could hear their groans every match...."Get yer subs on Machin!!" Very loud ,audible groans when Wayne Biggins was selected ahead of our own Paul Moulden..we used to moan at Kendall for picking gary megson and adrian heath,moan moan moan,it was non stop.loved it.
