Cheap season tickets on the way out

Some reasonable points in this thread, certainly not the Original Post however... Having no evidence to back-up his claim.

For a few years now I've gone on about having a Seat Exchange.
it is certainly implementable on the current online ticketing system, and would guarantee bums on those empty seats.

if I cannot make XXX game, I should be able to login to my account online, select the game, the database already knows where I am sat, and place my seat up for sale.

The buyer would have to be registered on tickets.mcfc.co.uk and the club could then activate the buyers card for that particular match in that particular seat.

Common Sense. The buyer/seller has no interaction, the club has all the payment details anyway, and could easily deposit £££ into the seller account, and take a cut for administration costs.

Seat Exchange is Needed City

I think I'm going to go and start a thread with content that'll stir it up a bit. Obvioulsy I won't offer any proof of where I got the info from but that won't stop peopel from letting it upset them will it.

Look out for my MCFC to groundshare with united at OT thread.

100% agree, we were all talking about this on Saturday when we noticed all the empty seats. I dont think we can talk about just the North Stand though, few empty seats dotted all around the ground.

I can only go to about half the games, the other half I usually pass on to a mate at a much reduced rate (£30 for Dad and Lad in CB level1).
I've been going for nearly 40years, about 10 as season ticket holder and the rest as much as I could whilst in the RAF. I've only started collecting loyalty in the past 4 years as a seasoncard holder in my own name.
I buy a seasoncard because I especially want to go to the biggies. I've paid £200 a ticket for a derbies and big money for other big games. I paid £250 for Wembley last year - not quite enough points, so I bought platinum and cup schemes this year ( now on 4000 points).
I am happy to buy a seasoncard to ensure i get the tickets I want and make a loss on games I don't attend. This could be an extra revenue stream to City if they got their act together.
There are obviously loads more on here who are artificially inflating their points by selling their away tickets ( I don't do this) - the same names seem to crop up on the sales page.
If the prices increase, I will continue to do the same as long as I can get my hands on the cash upfront and it's more worthwhile than paying tout prices for the games I want.
This will mean empty seats at some games. A seat exchange would solve this.

increasing the family stand was a terrible decision to begin with.

of the rag tops ,no quotes, no evidence & yet some people take it as fact ycnmiu or can you

The easiest way to tackle this problem is sell the cheap tickets and charge them extra if they are not used, and give them the option to sell on the tickets a week or so before the game via the club?

You could scan a letter from MCFC, post a YouTube clip of an interiew with a City Official and link to the MCFC.co.uk site all denying the story and people would STILL go on about it ;-)
