Chelsea (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Twice that's happened to us now in recent weeks
Yep and he does leave his leg in a bit. I thought when hecwas on loan that he would have been a good buy for us post CPFC probably would havd got fairly cheaply as Chelsea were in limbo with endless manager changes. More effective then Nunes and would really help Rodri with his 100% effort and fitness..ah well

Pep fucked that game up for me, Doku is not a Stamford Bridge away player at this stage of his development and Akanji isn't John Stones.

Dias and Josko made dreadful errors which in fairness I can write off as a bad day at the office. We still scored 4 and didn't play that badly, but fuck me if we're that sloppy against the scousers we'll have a bad time.

I think we need to start playing Jack and Kova while Johnny is out injured. The system needs a tweak. I'd feel better with Aké in our back 4/3 aswell, he might not be as good going forward as Walker, Akanji or Gvardiol but he's sure as shit a better defender.

Did Curcella ever get booked for that dive ? It was ten times worse than Doku one, which tbf didn't seem that bad to me

went to the game yesterday and when there it felt to me that we were too open and exposed at times which was strange

Good game to witness though

I never felt comfortable at any moment, (which is quite rare under Guardiola), and even at 4-3, I could still envisage a shock defeat.
Too many peripheral performances and a few rare individual errors that were inevitably punished

The only time we seemed to be our normal selves, was during a brief period when it was 3-2, and squandered a few opportunities,

No harm done and Chelsea will improve as the season continues
