For the first time this season we're trending above both the 16/17 and 19/20 seasons at the same time.
In the 16/17 season, we got 17 points from our last 7 games. That would put us on 81 this year.
In the 17/18 season, we got 16 points from our last 7 games. That would put us on 80 this year.
In the 18/19 season, we got 21 points from our last 7 games. That would put us on 85 this year.
In the 19/20 season, we got 18 points from our last 7 games. That would put us on 82 this year.
In the 20/21 season, we got 12 points from our last 7 games. That would put us on 76 this year.
In the 21/22 season, we got 19 points from our last 7 games. That would put us on 83 this year.
In the 22/23 season, we got 16 points from our last 7 games. That would put us on 80 this year.
In the 23/24 season, we got 21 points from our last 7 games. That would put us on 85 this year.
In the 24/25 season, we got 19 points from our last 7 games. That would put us on 83 this year.
Apart from the 20/21 season - when we'd basically already won the league and took our eye off it to prepare for the CL final - we tend to finish with at least five wins and a draw once we've locked in (and sometimes more). I think, looking ahead, we'll finish on 83 points (6 wins, 1 draw). That means we have to beat Arsenal and hope they drop points in one more game to at least finish in front of them on goal difference.
Definitely doable.
