Chelsea (a) post match thread

Haha! Some bloke off the Internet saying one of the most decorated managers in football is "thick as pigshit" cheers you up on nights like this.
It is factually correct that your average footballer had less qualifications than your average guy on he street. Possibly because of education shortage. And I never said Pep was I said football managers in general (on the basis of football players) probably have less educational background.

He won't, he fancies himself as a football coach when really he's just a bit of a dick.

I know but i was being kind because im a Mod and im not allowed to break the code of conduct.

Not saying Mike Dean is biased against City - just that he is a completely crap ref and shouldn't be anywhere near a PL game.
He should be sacked for letting Costa away with stamping out at Vinny's knee from the ground after the ball was gone without a red card. Didn't even give him a fucking yellow. As for Pedro being given a free for cleaning Silva out from behind, think he should be sectioned for that one.

Some deluded people on here, we have been shite for ages but Pep can do no wrong. Nothing is his fault apparently! Happy clappers unite!

He brought the right players on, just should have been for Clichy and Delph instead of taking our two most likely match-winners off.
Clichy, Navas, anyone who's never looked like doing anything remotely useful going forwards.

No. Last season they were a shambles. They had no vision, no belief and most importantly, they had an excuse. This season Conte has transformed Chelsea, given them the organisational rigour throughout the team that we lack, the passion and belief that we lack, and the desire and hunger to win in a professional, calculated and methodical manner, that we lack.

I love Pep but many of our failings this season ultimately stop at his door.

It may be effective but no way I would love us to play that way, and if we did we would be looking at suspensions every other week!. One false move from Conte and the whole thing at Chelsea will implode again.

It will be interesting to see how long Guardiola persists with this tippy-tappy stuff. I can admire him for sticking to his principles, but there comes a time to try something different (like actually getting the ball in the net). Presumably he thinks he can buy his way out of trouble in the summer, and maybe he can. God knows, something has to happen.
