Can't sleep. Fooking buzzing after that. Total domination of a team that were the first English team to beat Alti away just days ago!!
First off, I'm a Gooner so that's out of the way
I watched tonight's game at Chelsea
I thought you were absolutely fantastic
I loved the skill, passing and the technique
Lovely football
Sadly we have no chance for the Title but if you Mancs can maintain that level of football you deserve it
Also I hate both Man Yoo and Mourinho so that would work too
Hello,
my first post, and I'm a Villa fan.
About 10 or 12 years ago we were about on par. But now you're miles ahead of us, fair play. No Issue from me, sh*t happens.
But bloody hell are you good to watch.
Some people might say you bought, success. But guess what every other Successful team ever had tons of money.
Now were in a lower league and not on the box, If I want to watch a game in the premier league, it might be Albion v Spurs, like most I want the underdog to win.
But you guys I'll watch just because it's great footy. Exiting times, for you good luck.
The Only change I would make would be to replace Pep with 'Arry Redknapp. Not that he is in the same League as Pep, but I reckon a few brown envelopes delivered by his dog
and we would find out Silva, De Bruyne and Aguerro are mysteriously are qualified to play for England
Ooof
If I was Kev I too would have a bad back when 10 players jump on me for scoring a 'simple' tap in - Lol
Let us say average weight of a player is 12/14 stone i.e. 120 to 140 Stone on my back.
or maybe 1 Stone (no.5)............
Apologies if already posted....

Fair play mateHands up City were quality today I was needlessly worried before the game and have made a mental note to have more faith in the team.
I totally disagree with you on this and you put this out in the pre match thread too. So, in pep's shoes yesterday, what team would you have picked yesterday and whyNot sure I would sign your wording describing Chelsea under Conte (lol), I would most probably talk about opportunism. But I completely agree with your point, that's what's all about. Guardiola succeeding in City will be a victory for football, with the expected influence on the game and its evolution. It's all about ideas to me too, I have nothing against Conte, he simply represents the football I want to beat. So it has to be a winning strategy, you understand, just playing the "beautiful game" is simply not good enough. Last thing I want to experience is another WC1982 again, Brazil's failure there was followed by an era of fucking negativity...
I said before the game that I expected Guardiola being bolder in his recent rotation policy. He wasn't, he's still insecure, relying too much on specific key players. I strongly believe we could have appeared much much fresher tonight, with much much more energy -and the game could have been easier for City. Anyway. As a consequence, many players played their 3rd game in 7 days tonight. While Sane played his 4th in 10 days. I honestly expected nothing better from him. He lacked sharpness, his decision making wasn't the best, his positioning problematic occasionally etc. But it was not his fault. The only reason he was fielded is because Guardiola strongly believes in his quality. How could he not? An exceptional talent, capable of producing amazing stuff -like our 1st goal vs Palace. Pep insisted on keeping him on the pitch until 84', hoping for a moment of magic if possible. In his eyes, it was a risk worth taking. But I can assure you, Azpilicueta won't be that lucky again next time he faces him... [that is, of course, if he's the one, not Moses, chosen by Conte to face him next time]
I think Yaya is actually a Pep player...when he is at the fitness level demanded, which he isn't! Pep wants quality players who can spray the ball and control the game, and Yaya is one of the best in the world at that. However, he now has other high quality technical players who ALSO put in the shift required to shut down the opposition....this is why he can't get a game...at the moment.I know I've been absolutely slated on here for years for criticism of Yaya and I probably haven't always expressed it as eloquently or tactfully as I possibly should but this the exact reason I wanted him gone. To be successful long term you just have to work harder than the opposition, being skillful and intelligent in possession is only half the battle. Players sometimes have to sacrifice themselves for the benefit of the team and we're seeing that now, every player is giving 100%, whether it's De Bruyne or Delph, the team comes first and we're reaping the rewards.
